After a rocky relationship over the past few months, the former president and vice president are making amends.
President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence are talking again, since the former president called his former No. 2 when Pence recently had pacemaker surgery, retired Army Lt. General Keith Kellogg said Friday.
The retired general was National Security Council chief of staff under Trump and National Security adviser to Pence.
"Absolutely. I really do," Kellogg said Friday on the "John Solomon Reports" podcast, on the question of whether Trump and Pence can repair their relationship. "They're talking together. I know the president called him when he had his operation just recently on the pacemaker. And I know they're talking."
Trump had previously said he was "disappointed" in Pence for accepting the Electoral College votes on Jan. 6, and their relationship had been strained ever since.
Kellogg also reminisced about his time with them at the White House.
"When I used to be in the Oval with both of them, I just loved being with both of them," he said." There was good banter going back and forth. And you know, and when they would talk privately, I mean, the vice president would say, 'Give me the room,' which means 'leave,' and we would get up and leave the Oval, and then he and the president would talk out there. And I think they were an incredible team together going forward."
Hopefully this is made up BS. Trump would do better than to communicate with anyone hell bent on spying for the Deep State.
Pence’s staffer says it, so it must be so. OR ... it’s spin to try to rehabilitate Pence with the base. My money is on the latter but I guess we’ll see.

If Trump runs in 2024, Pence will NOT be his VP.
It was gracious of President Trump to make the phone call, and good to hear they’re talking.
However, that DOESN’T mean that Pence should be considered for the VP spot when Trump runs again in 2024. I vote for Ron Desantis.

Trump shot straight up to the White House. That’s why he kisses GOPe ass. MTG is starting from Congress. We need people like her to be a wrecking ball as they work their way up the ladder.
Why would Trump ever have cause to talk to that backstabbing traitor? And I read a story saying Pence was considering a run for president. I’d say, “Pence, save your money and practice ducking.” He is the dog poop you stepped on and scrape off on the curb. If that much.
PDJT seems to be very forgiving. He reminds me of the MMA fighters that beat each other half to death, then hug and praise each other after it’s over. That can be both an asset and liability. It most assuredly a trait only held by conservatives.
Pence is nice but WEAK AS HELL.
People just refuse to read about Trump. Who is is what he’s accomplished how He thinks.
Yet they comment and opine.
It continues to amaze me.
If the conversation was about restoring absolute electoral integrity for 2022, then maybe about Trump’s repeatedly-delayed social media platform unveiling, and bringing Pence up to speed on 2021 Trump “Office Of The Former President” messaging, then it was worth every minute, because at a minimum this story will disrupt and displace a worthless, made-up, Friday-news #MSM story.
Trump endorsed Rubio. I don’t like that Pence didn’t send back the electors, but Trump may still choose him if he runs again.
Hi Red. Call me crazy (I’ve been called worse), but what I’d like to see is someone run with Trump as VP. Then after 4 or 8 years Trump run again for a 2nd term. This fantasy scenario would give us 12 more years of Trump! :)

Trump is selectively forgiving. Forgiving Pence and while remaining angry at Sessions really shows that. I don’t get how you can really say Sessions recusal was beyond the pale, while Pence folding at the 11th hour the way he did wasn’t.
