Governor Jay Inslee said fully vaccinated people are going to get special treatment when it comes to sporting events, performing arts and cruises.
The governor said he is alarmed by the softening in demand for the vaccines and worries the virus is going to outrun the effort to fight the pandemic.
“It’s well known that we’ve had a slowdown in the demand for the vaccine,” Inslee said. “Now this is very concerning because now it is a terrible thing to think that we have vaccines to save people’s lives and not see it in people’s arms.”
Inslee said they have gone from the problem of not enough vaccines to not enough interest in getting vaccinated and they are going to shift sending vaccines to counties that have stronger demand. He believes it’s allowing the virus to spread unchecked in many areas, especially among young people.
He is now announcing new incentives to get vaccinated with special access for fully vaccinated people.
“These new guidelines will allow cruises to take place where everybody is vaccinated on the ship except those who can’t get vaccinated for one reason or another," Inslee said.This is going to go into effect in mid-May. Small example of the benefits of getting vaccinated.”
Officials will announce Tuesday which counties are going to be forced back into Phase Two of reopening warning that more than a dozen counties are in jeopardy.
KOMO asked, “Governor, you’re using cases and hospitalizations right now for your metrics. What of the consideration of using vaccinations as one of the metrics and encourage counties to get vaccinated to be able to open up?”
Inslee answered, “It is a possibility. We’ve given thought to this. I do think in the next several weeks you’ll see increasing policies by the state and other entities, colleges and cruise lines and everything else that will create more incentive for folks. So, that is a possibility going forward.”

He wants another reason to shut the state down again; the first time he did it only 1500 people state wide (most in Snohomish/King counties) died out of a state population of 7.5 million and effected thousands of businesses and jobs some of which never recovered. Now he’s raising taxes to cover the lost revenue. And he was re-elected.

Yes, this is clearly headed to where people will need a vaccine passport to participate in everyday life activities.
The left will divide the country along any differences they can make up.
And we are doing all of this, for a virus which the vast majority of people survive, even if they do get the virus.
We are treating this virus as if it is the return of the bubonic plague from medieval Europe. We have severely overreacted to this virus.
The Left wants to implement something like the PRC’s Social Credit system so badly it hurts.

Special treatment? Opportunity to die unexpectantly from an experimental vaccine.
They have a large financial stake in these frickin’ vaccines that have some pretty bad side effects. Since most are immune ANYWAY, why not just test for antibodies? That’s what they do for other viruses.
Do antibody titers and forget the vaccines that have many side effects-some long lasting and fatal.
Or would doing antibody titers be too easy?
