Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) told Fox News that he is meeting with members of George Floyd's family on Thursday.
State of play: Scott, the lone Black Republican in the Senate, is working with Rep. Karen Bass (D-Calif.), Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) and other Democrats to reach a bipartisan deal on police reform.
