One of the country's top physicists, who served as the Department of Energy Undersecretary during the Obama administration, is out with a new book that pushes back on climate change hysteria and debunks the politically charged statement that the science is "settled" on the issue.
"Physicist Steven Koonin kicks the hornet’s nest right out of the gate in “Unsettled.” In the book’s first sentences he asserts that 'the Science' about our planet’s climate is anything but “settled.” Mr. Koonin knows well that it is nonetheless a settled subject in the minds of most pundits and politicians and most of the population," the Wall Street Journal writes about Koonin's new book. "He begins with a kind of trigger warning for readers who may be shocked by the book’s contradiction of four points of climate orthodoxy: 'Heat waves in the US are now no more common than they were in 1900' and 'the warmest temperatures in the US have not risen in the past fifty years. . . . Humans have had no detectable impact on hurricanes over the past century. . . . Greenland’s ice sheet isn’t shrinking any more rapidly today than it was eighty years ago. . . . The net economic impact of human-induced climate change will be minimal through at least the end of this century.'"
The book comes as the Biden administration attempts to sell a $2.5 trillion Green New Deal style "infrastructure" package to the country, arguing the "climate crisis" is dire and massive government spending will fix it.

This entire man-caused climate change farce benefits from the science illiterate country we have become.
I could stand in front of my local super market and ask 100 people what the chemical formula for carbon dioxide is and I’m guessing maybe a couple dozen might get it right.

Why don’t the “Climate Frauds” just cut to the chase, and dictate what “settled science” means? “Science, Schmience... we are going dismantle and turn off the economy, and that’s that.” would say the Democrat/Marxist/Loonies.
Because they can’t, yet. They are toying with the idea of silencing “Climate Deniers”, which is a stupid way of putting it. Censorship is totalitarian, particularly in this case. They would then find a way of either destroying CD’s lives, or having them jailed.
If you think I am kidding, watch what they do to “extremist domestic terrorists”, another name for Trump supporters. They can’t get away with this kind of Neo Stalinism, as long as someone sane is on the Supreme Court. That is why they must pack it, just like they pack in those Gerbils.

Try to catch some videos by a Princeton physicist Dr William Happer. I caught one of his on YouTube put on by an outfit called “Conversations tht matter”. He tears Gore’s “film” a new one — points out that the publicist photoshopped out earth’s cloud cover on his book so he (Gore) could push the idea that greehouse gases matter — when in reality it is water vapor and cloud cover that control climate. Lots of plots and layman explanations. His punchline is that our atmosphere now has too little CO2. Presently we are at ~400ppm. But, most of our food crops need 1000-2000ppm. And, the temperature impact of CO2 levels off at ~400ppm — it no longer leads to warming. But, what it does is boost food production by several multiples. And, since most of our homes and offices are at >1500ppm, it won’t hurt you. In his words, worrying about warming from CO2 is a scam.

People are so stupid when it comes to anything dealing with science...amazes me that people will happily believe anything about climate from Algore, JF Kerry, or any barely out of high school Hollywood actor.
I tell people who are freeking out about CO2 to check out what concentrations are in submarines.
My guess is it is going to get colder before it gets warmer. Next 25,000 years.
Which CCCP plant Freepers will now tell us the climate science is settled? Same guys who fear the virus, want lockdowns is my guess.
