Face it the nation is lost as no one seems interested in stopping these extremists. Some of us are. I've been going to at least one demonstration every week, and we activists are meeting regularly. We communicate using alternative media such as Telegram and Gab.

"I'm gonna let you and everyone that thinks like you in on a little secret. The only thing standing between what we have now and the attempted implementation of real, total tyranny are the Conservative/Patriotic people in local, state and federal government, law enforcement and the military. It's not you and your guns, because if that were the case, we wouldn't be where we are today. It wasn't your AR that made a military officer tell Pelosi "NO" when she wanted belt fed MGs "protecting" Jan 20th in DC. It wasn't your 10K worth of ammo that told Gavin Newsome "No" when he wanted an F-15 on standby to scare people that might protest him. It was patriotic minded officers that still care about the country." And now I'm gonna enlighten you. The fact that only one military officer told Pelosi "NO" is a failure of that branch of service to properly inculcate, vet, and train their servicemen and officers to the point where Pelosi, and Newsom, should have both feared the blowback from their absurd, treasonous asks, to the point where neither. asked.
You removed yourself from the private sector - fine, great, whatever, but don't come in the capitalism kitchen here and ask us to give you an ass-pat. Not happening.

IF I have a signed Federal Con tract that is still in effect, and I was contracted to pay $11 an hour-—WHAT NOW???

Read the fine print and see if there’s a clause that covers the situation. I worked for one contractor that had an exclusion such that if the Fed min wage went up they weren’t required to raise their employees wages until the next contract.....................

I think many union contract wages are based on a multiple of the minimum wage. If this is correct then many more wages will automatically cachet up.
Can the minimum wage even be changed by executive order? I thought the existing minimum was by federal law and some state laws that were greater than the federal minimum.

Agreed. It’s still no fun and it’s still going to suck. :(

Indeed it already does and will until these next years are over....perhaps even beyond. I’m basically preparing for the worst.

What legal right does POS biden have to raise wages with federal contractors on already negotiated and legally signed government contracts?

Yup and it will only get more streamlined. Computer software providers will have a field day.
Pick up your order at the kitchen counter. No wait staff and bus your own dishes.
