People in India are dying in the streets amid a catastrophic surge of COVID-19 infections — prompting an oxygen shortage and mass cremations to deal with the overwhelming amount of bodies.
“The virus is swallowing our city’s people like a monster,” said Mamtesh Sharma, an official at the Bhadbhada Vishram Ghat crematorium in Bhopal.
Sharma said the unprecedented crush of bodies has forced them to skip individual ceremonies and rituals that are Hindu traditions.

The doctor who wrote the letter said Ivermectin has been highly effective (especially when given early) but that lately Indian doctors have been turning away from it due to the influence of big pharma and NRI doctors. NRI means “non-resident Indian” according to a quick google search. So according to this doc, the doctors in India are being waved off of Ivermectin by their Indian peers in the Western world, and this is helping drive the recent surge of cases and deaths. I wonder if he’s right? It would be interesting to see some stats on the rates of Ivermectin use in India.
I thought when the wuhan flu started it would spread like wildfire in India.
And that has me concerned at the moment...
You do the same.
I suspect that some kind of record has recently been set on “death by anti-medicine propaganda.”
“I thought when the wuhan flu started it would spread like wildfire in India.”
The first virus did not do much in India. This is a double mutation virus, some even say a third mutation.
I have been reading that people are perfectly healthy in the morning and 5-8 hours later they are dead.
That’s because HCQ is not the magic bullet some would like it to be

Few said it was, but it saved allot of lives and It’s a helluva lot safer and more universally effective than anything Big Pharma is peddling. If you have not dismissed it out of hand and taken steps to acquire it and have it at the ready in your medicine cabinet along with Ivermectin, selenium, zinc, and NAC you will likely survive the Chicom bio-agent. Everyone should know by now that you have to have it on hand so you can take it at the first sign of flu symptoms and that applies equally to all seasonal influenzas that may come your way.
Subject to updates, current weekly numbers for those younger than 25 YO

Deaths 0.005 per 100,000

If you can cite the surge, that would be helpful.
Yikes...that’s Ebola fast. I hope we’ve shut air travel between here and India.
‘We should be agreeable to lockdowns if they have to return.’
are you nuts...? those lockdowns never had to happen the first time around, and have proven to be indisputably crushing to local economies, and you think we should meekly bow down to the characters that brought about this lunacy, based on the notion that they think it’s necessary again...?
are you seriously that afraid of this virus...?
I’m not afraid.
HCQ is used widely in Uganda. 43 million people 16 deaths from COVID. That was the number in March. When talking to a 28 year Ugandan who has been in USA for about 12 years, his quote was: “we took HCQ like it was candy from a very young age.” The whole country has been on it for years.
There death rate per million is 117 and the US is 1756. not exact numbers but close
It was in the New York Times today. I left my copy at work and I don’t see it in the online edition. I’ll let you know tomorrow.
I call b.s. every single time they’ve reported or pushed this people dropping dead due to covid it’s been fake news!
👍
I see there’s a brand-new story in the Times about West Virgina giving things away to young people who get the vaccine in order to encourage the younger age groups. I couldn’t read the story because I don’t subscribe to the online edition. (I think the Times should make all covid stories free.) Those who subscribe can check it out now and report back to FR.
It’s a follow-up, in a way, to today’s story I guess.
Surge of infections with young people but still not deadly for them.
That’s my understanding also.
There are probably a dozen or so incorrectly assigned deaths across the US. Out of ~586,000 COVID-19 deaths.
yeah sure only a dozen
