A state of emergency is now in effect in Elizabeth City, N.C., where the local sheriff's office is expected to publicly release a deputy's body camera footage from the killing of Andrew Brown Jr. last Wednesday. The city has also closed all of its government offices for the day.
Pasquotank County, N.C., Sheriff Tommy Wooten II said over the weekend that his office will ask a court to approve the video's release on Monday. That step is required by North Carolina law, as agencies generally do not have the authority to make such recordings public.

It used to be if a suspect got in a car, the cop would blast away saying the suspect was "trying to run him over." Forget about maybe you shouldn't stand in front of the car, and now with the advent of video we see many cops shooting from the side, not the front.
There are probably thousands of perfectly fine interactions filmed every day, now if one or two a month aren't up to snuff, the MSM pounces.

Waiting to see a couple of white actors dressed up as cops. Then film them shooting up some black actors dressed up as thugs-not hard to do. Then they post it just to see how many buttons get pushed. It would be like a public burning of the Koran.

I dont know how many are filmed but there are apprx 70,000 interactions of some/any kind between police and civilians each and every day in the US.

Pasquotank County could block two bridges and one intersection to effectively seal off Elizabeth City from the horde of BLM and ANTIFA that are about the descend upon the city.
Interesting side note, the secretive Harvy Point CIA/DOD/State Department training center is 24 road miles to the SW.
First, you have a target on your back already as a LEO.
Then, if your in a area with a higher percentage of "people of color" you just placed additional targets on your back now.
A potential solution would be to prevent any whites from being employed by the police department in any area where the black population is higher than say...the national average of ~13%.

A copy of Andrew Brown’s death certificate obtained by CNN says Brown died as a result of a “penetrating gunshot wound of the head” and died within “minutes” of being shot.
The certificate goes on to categorize Brown’s death as a homicide.
