The Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office in Virginia released body camera footage and 911 audio Friday night of the recent officer-involved shooting of a 32-year-old Black man.
The recordings appeared to show the deputy mistook a cordless house phone held by Isaiah Brown for a gun before the deputy shot him repeatedly.

Day by day, I’m losing any respect for any white cop that shoots a black person. Justified or not.
I understand that cops are trained and it’s ingrained in their nature to be bad asses and take physical control of the situation.
But if it isn’t abundantly clear that white cops need to stay the bleep away from black people then it needs to be made clear.
Perhaps a picture of Chauvin in his prison uniform should be prominently displayed in every police station in America.

I’m not sure why cops think black men might be holding guns.
So laws don’t apply to black people then? The Soros media has accomplished its mission.
They could just send black cops into black areas. Also, they could use rubber bullets.

It’s time to add some prompts to 911. Press 1 for white officers, press 2 for black officers, or press three for an LGBTQJAIUW social worker.
If I were a coo I would quit and find a different line of work. It is really a no-win situation for them. If quitting is not an option then finding a sheltered position might be better than squeezing off a few rounds. Gun training involves shooting accurately at targets and what not but other training is definitely needed to know when to resort to gun skills. There should at least be a question in the mind of the cop about the intentions of the suspect that would maybe give them a moment to not make the split second decision to shoot.
Another thing, with the increasing unpopularity of police officers I think that the better ones will get out of active policing and it will tend to make the less over-achieving, shall we say, in the position of interacting with the public. The evolutionary pressure will result in a general decline in policing.

I’ve seen articles that said 1) young blacks don’t want to be cops, 2) many are unqualified anyway for many various reasons and 3) those black cops that are hired and are experienced aren’t from “the hood” - so they aren’t as useful as “ambassadors” as many imagine.
I would welcome any more detailed statistics and reports on this.
In my town, the cops only job is catching DWI’s on the highway and going to homes to help old ladies who have fallen. We know the cops because they live in our town. I think its a good job. We don’t have to lock our doors at night.
Of course, our demographics would be heavily criticized by Obama/Holder/Biden’s DOJ and we’ll probably be targeted soon for some government social-engineering.

One thing I will admit to myself and others. What we are seeing here is a very very small percentage of the average day in the life of a cop.
Most cops do an excellent job of serving the community. Unfortunately there are way too many communities like Portland and Minneapolis.
I’ve always said that a community deserves the leaders they elect. And the police officers that protect them. I myself have been very fortunate to have lived in a safe and secure community all my life. And as a result, the cops have been wonderful.
One more reason to make sure your phone is some bright color other than black.
