Maybe the city should sue the family for doing such as lousy job of parenting and endangering city police officers.

Ah, so it was self-defense according to AP?

I hope the jury returns and gives money and a medal to the policeman.

That follows. Tamir Rice’s mother was sitting in jail while the young man was outside waving a gun at passersby. When the police were summoned and the boy (or whoever that was in the dark wearing a hoody waving the gun) was shot, the mayor of Cleveland apologized to the mother before finding out exactly what happened, and subsequently, after the mother made 8 or 9 million out of the court settlement, she, now that she wasn’t sitting in jail, demanded that the policemen involved get fired and be unable to ever hold down a policemen’s job. Now, she is back demanding a whole review of the incident after quite a few years.
So, she became a millionaire, the attorneys got their 33%, and she doesn’t seem to want to go away. Seems as though the family of this woman who tried to stab a girl to death want their fair share too. Seems like this is never going to be settled just like the Tamir Rice thing.
There’s money to be made!

After being contacted by a money-hungry lawyer. This is how they live and thrive. They make money off of Whitey, blame Whitey for their self-inflicted failures, and then hate Whitey.

the link “shot dead after calling police for help” points to an article that doesn’t mention her calling for help.
and that seems to be the narrative...she’s the one who called police.

I suspect they don’t want a trial, they just want the city to fold and pay a settlement.

One would think they don’t have a leg to stand on, legally speaking, but the city may pay something just to make this go away.

If this was true, you'd tell the officers present and not try to kill someone in front of them.
