He needs to leave the country and apply for political asylum in a more stable country.

Hard to do when you're in a penitentiary on suicide watch and locked in your cell 23 hours a day.

The MPD shoulda brought over a PoPo SUV and tossed him into the cargo area at a much earlier point in the Arrest.

Just in case he wins an appeal. They need this in their back pocket.

The Feds are talking about charging Chauvin for Civil Rights violations and a hate crime from the Floyd case. And the state of Minnesota may re-try the case for First Degree Murder if the Fed charges stick as it will be considered an aggravating circumstance.

Do you think they go after them the same way?

Justice in America is about what fashionable idea the media creates, how much money you have and how politically connected you are.

If you’re a Clinton, you can operate an above TS server from home and have the Director of the FBI himself ensure you’re off the hook for anything.

Or you can drive a car into a river while DUI and kill a girl and get off the hook.

Or shoot a woman in the chest from a distance and not do anything wrong.

Or use FISA powers to eavesdrop on a Presidential candidate - who went to prison for that? Ah yeah, no one.

Or order the dismemberment of a US resident (Kashoggi) in Turkey, and eventually come to the US and face what charges... nothing...

Justice is VERY relative in America where you have “class justice.” You have the justice normal people face, and then the justice we low people face.

“We don’t pay taxes. Only the little people pay taxes.”
LEONA HELMSLEY, attributed, New York Times, Jul. 12, 1989

It’s that way with justice also.

And is anyone surprised the DOJ would add insult to injury by digging in the mud to find additional dirt to throw on Chauvin?

........................................................

I really didn’t think they would bother with three guilty state verdicts already in.

Who knows what is happening in Minneapolis. The police have to spend a lot of resources just watching Antifa, to ensure they don’t kill anymore people. All the resources were probably tied up there.

The Department of Justice is investigating whether they will now charge Derek Chauvin over a 2017 incident where he knelt on a black 14-year-old boy's neck for nearly 17 minutes.

Oh that's terrible! Somebody should do something! Like...

...ask why the DOJ is now all of a sudden interested in this? Why weren't they interested in 2017, or 2018, or 2019, or 2020?

...ask just how big/muscular the 14 year old "boy" was?

...ask them if they would have been happier if he had used lethal force instead of non-lethal or less-lethal blunt-force to subdue him?

...ask exactly what is meant by "struck?" could have been anything from splitting his skull open to merely poking him in the back as in "move along." Given the leftist media's tenuous grasp on the truth and demonstrated penchant for spinning stories and outright fabrication I imagine "struck" was carefully chosen for it's ambiguity.

...ask for how many of those 17 minutes was the "boy" being uncooperative or combative?

How big was this “child”?

How compliant to arresting officer instructions was this “child”?

What was the “child” charged with?

The government either thinks the case will become a mistrial or they are hedging their bets.

....................................................

Even so, all it gets Chauvin is another trial, with another guaranteed guilty verdict.

Chauvin’s only hope is that his next trial is moved to my little lily White town

Police Chiefs serve at the Pleasure of the Mayor.

Both of them turned their head the other way. They should both be in Prison. They did not deal with the problems with this officer when they arose. OF COURSE, they are both Democrats!
