Black trans lives matter protesters and cops came to blows Thursday night after the protesters apparently sprayed a statue near Central Park with anti-cop graffiti and red paint resembling blood.
A group of hundreds of protesters were seen marching through Manhattan on Thursday before vandalizing a statue in Columbus Circle and clashing with police during a chaotic melee.
Several protesters were seen brawling with NYPD officers while others threw an unidentified liquid at them, video shows. One protester was seemingly heard on video attempting to spit on cops.

I’ll bet most the policemen never imagined they would be involved in street fights with black Drag Queens trying to destroy a Columbus statue.
I expect to see some NYPD officers fired and possibly imprisoned over this.
If the Italians on Staten Island come out to protect the Columbus statue there will be some interesting confrontations.
To clarify, if I’m correct, this is the statue of Columbus and it’s IN Columbus Circle, not NEAR it.
There are a few Columbus organizations in the area, and they came out last time to protect the statue as I recall.
Funny how the intolerant who are gay lesbian transgender black and people of color are fighting for a cause that in it self is intolerant of what they are.
They should just re-locate the statue; it is behind enemy lines. At this point, the Columbus statues are as telling in a neighborhood as “Martin Luther King Boulevard” is in another neighborhood.

A proper response to the juvenile iconoclasts of late would be their summary detainment and the prompt administration of an unforgettable ass beating, followed by summary release. Repeat as needed.
As a preventative, the honorable citizens of our land ought to stand guard over emblems of their history and heritage.
