This morning brings us the latest addition to the popular "saying the quiet part out loud" trope.
On today's Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough let the cat out of the bag, saying that for fear of turning off the show's largely liberal, Trump-hating viewership, he didn't want to talk too much about the success of President Trump's Operation Warp Speed, that led to the development of safe and highly-effective Covid vaccines in record time. Said Scarborough:
"I certainly don’t want to belabor the point, because I don’t want to make a lot of people that watch this show and don’t want to hear anything positive about Donald Trump spit their cereal into the television set."

And Scarborough, earlier in the segment,and once again for the umpteenth time, mentioned Pres. Trump’s early misstatements about the virus.
As I tweeted, sometime in the future when Scarborough is in a nursing home, he will still be buttonholing people:

Folks here often, understandably, imagine that Morning Joe has few viewers.
But in fact, for years they’ve averaged over 1 million daily viewers. And in the week after the election, Morning Joe averaged 1.62 million daily viewers, beating Fox & Friends.

That’s right, his viewers can’t handle the truth.
Nah, other way around. Mika is 54 years old. She’s wife number 3. She’ll get traded in for a new model shortly.
Reminds me of how Jimmy Fallon regretted having Trump on his show because Trump came off so well.
