Surveillance footage shows the shocking moment when a woman stalked her ex-girlfriend and shot her in the back of the head in broad daylight in Brooklyn Wednesday.
Footage shows the horrifying moment when Latisha Bell, 38, sprinted up behind Nichelle Thomas, 52, and shot the woman as she headed into a bodega store on the corner of St. Marks place in Park Slope at 1pm.
The two women had previously been in a relationship but it was not immediately clear why the two broke up, police sources told the New York Daily News.

His argument is not that its moral. His argument is that if you want a thing, whatever that thing is, you are going to have to face the complete practical reality of that thing.
If you want a guy who makes a ton of money, is willing to take you on as a wife, and will give you the life you are believe you are entitled to, then be prepared to accommodate that situation.
A guy making a half mil a year marries a woman to make a home. If that woman starts losing sight of that and doesn’t actively and enthusiastically do her job, then he’s going to seek and have sex outside of the marriage.
Add to that the reality that no man with an ounce of social awareness making that sort of money would ever get himself in the precarious economic and legal situation of hitching his financial wagon to any woman in the US.
Say she manages to land one of these unicorns. The man has outside sex, she divorces him, takes millions. Likely outcome? She’ll piss it away in under two years.
ECONOMICALLY, she’s better off letting him do it, embracing it, realizing that even if he’s Tom Brady, eventually she’s going to find some reason to find contempt in him and stop putting out anyway, and just embrace the .01% lifestyle.
Bottom line - a woman should face her nature, have some foresight and realize she’ll get tired of having sex with him no matter who he is, and staying in her lane.
It’s quaint though, you clinging to the religious tradition of marriage in a country that has weaponized it into a financial strategy for single mothers.
It’s so pervasive, divorce lawyers have built it into their standard pitch.
For me? It’s a Sacrament. It’s a vow, and you don’t break it.
In the US? It’s a corporate structure that has morphed into a ponzi scheme.
