LOL, it is isn’t it? :-) At the time that kind of thing was very uncommon because they were all still in the closet. I was a dumb farm girl that didn’t believe there were people like that even though friends tried to tell me.

:-) I’m a fossil too. I was 25 when we divorced. My dad lectured me about staying with him because he said I was too old to find anybody else. I finally told him what happened to cause it and he couldn’t wrap his head around it. It finally sank in and he stopped harassing me about the divorce.
I’m a strong person though. The only time I almost got violent was when my ex-MIL said “he wasn’t like that until he met you”. I almost decked her. Friends were trying to tell me but I wouldn’t believe them. Back then it was something that was taboo.
The main thing it did to me was make me very intolerant of that lifestyle and the people that choose it. They are immoral beyond anything most normal people can even imagine. I have seen the truth and I have seen what they are really like. It ain’t pretty.

One has to believe that what leads a woman to becoming a lesbian likely involved a GREAT deal of rejection by men.
Once they’ve ‘chosen’ the lifestyle, I would imagine that the dredged up feelings of rejection only massively compound leading some to extreme behavior.
I remember reading in a forensic science crime scne analysis book 30+ years ago. The following statement paraphrasing “ .... a crime scene of extreme violence can often indicate the presence of a jealous reaction in a homosexual relationship .....”. I am sure that has been edited out in all subsequent additions.
