All a surgeon has to say is that they are not trained in the procedure. You cannot force a surgeon to do a procedure they are unwilling to do. You have to be privileged to do procedures, just do not apply to do that procedure.

Can someone explain how any doctor is forced to perform any surgery? I would think doctors receive specfic training for different surgical procedures and if they don’t have the training they won’t or can’t perform the surgery. Thus, it would make sense that Catholic doctors just never get the training to do genetial mutulation.
