If I keep reading all these horror stories I’m gonna stay home and nail the doors shut.
Shingles is devastating for adults who weren’t exposed to chicken pox as a child. It means certain death. Shingles for those of us who were exposed is still no walk in the park.
Maybe that’s what they want us to do!................
Rare SO FAR.
Who knows what the next six months or six years will bring.
Don’t forget the bubblewrap! I’ve been hoarding it just for these times.
That is why I actually took the two dose shingles vaccine in December and March. The first dose made me feel not so great the next day. The second dose I purposely took on a Friday afternoon. I felt absolutely horrible the next day. I hardly left the house. It hurt to move.
I don’t usually get any flu shots and will have to be dragged kicking and screaming to get a covid shot.
The rare exception for me is the shingles vaccine. I got the vaccine and the booster.
My aversion to the vaccine bandwagon goes back to the 90’s when I ran right out to get the Lymerix vaccine. I was living in the woods in CT - and was finding ticks on my dogs and myself almost daily. Within a couple years - Lymerix got pulled because it was allegedly giving people Lyme disease. I don’t think I’ve been affected negatively, and there are the usual counter arguments in support of Lymerix. Ya never know.
Really? Certain death, huh? You watch CNN, don't you? Admit it. You're a secret CNN watcher.
The phrase in that article that caught my eye was “autoimmune”. Are these injections triggering that response in certain individuals?
Not just these new vaxxes, but others have done it in the past as well............
This is at least a virus almost everyone carries already. Taking the COVID-19 shot weakens your immune system at least for a while, it appears.
“The researchers added that a larger study would need to be conducted in order to garner better results.”
Well, there are plenty to choose from who already got the vaccine.
For adults who never had chickenpox, the disease can be a killer but a vaccine can help
What is the mortality rate for herpes zoster (shingles)?
5%-15% mortality rate is MUCH higher than the 0.4% death rate from COVID. Pound sand.
My brother’s FIL contracted shingles, the developed pneumonia and died a painful death with no family by his side. He took the Jab days before.
This happened to a guy I work with.
I don't target anybody. 5%-15% (if this is accurate) is NOT CERTAIN death. Hyperbole, much?
Get bent. You are apparently perfect and incapable of making mistakes. It’s a pleasure to know you, Jesus. Where would you like your shrine constructed?

The shingles vaccine is one that I've not gotten yet. Guess I'll have to wait a while after the 2nd COVID jab this Friday.
I wonder if the kids nowadays that are vaccinated against chickenpox can get shingles later in life?
