If I keep reading all these horror stories I’m gonna stay home and nail the doors shut.

Shingles is devastating for adults who weren’t exposed to chicken pox as a child. It means certain death. Shingles for those of us who were exposed is still no walk in the park.

Rare SO FAR.

My friend got shingles after his vaccine. Debilitatingly painful. Just coincidence? I don't think so.

The phrase in that article that caught my eye was “autoimmune”. Are these injections triggering that response in certain individuals?

“The study found that 1.2 per cent of the patients with AIIRD developed shingles...”

This is at least a virus almost everyone carries already. Taking the COVID-19 shot weakens your immune system at least for a while, it appears.

Well, there are plenty to choose from who already got the vaccine.

My brother’s FIL contracted shingles, the developed pneumonia and died a painful death with no family by his side. He took the Jab days before.

This happened to a guy I work with.

I worked with a guy many years ago whose wife nagged him forever to get a flu shot. He kept refusing and the nagging kept escalating to the point where he finally gave in just to keep the peace....well, he got the shot and then ended up with shingles. He was pissed and the next year she kept her mouth shut.

That's the reaction I had the day after each of the two shots. The day after that I was fine....

is the evidence that Israelis are experiencing nationwide immunosuppression and therefore mortality for all causes is going up. This is what happens if you hit the immune system of an entire population hard; people begin to start dying of illnesses they would have otherwise survived:

By early March, Israel had vaccinated about 90% of its 65+ population and about 50% of its entire population. Covid deaths had been decreasing since the end of January, as expected, although not any faster than in some other countries with a very low vaccination rate, such as South Africa.
Concerningly, however, Israel has seen a renewed and continued increase in all-cause mortality since mid-February; in fact, by March 21, Israel reported the highest excess mortality of all countries participating in Euromomo (see figure above). In contrast, many other European countries currently report a post winter wave negative excess mortality. The cause behind this renewed increase in Israeli all-cause mortality appears to be unclear.

I can’t find the posted photos of people, who got the Moderna shot and ended up with what at first appeared to be a rash and later was identified as Shingles/Herpes Zoster on their upper arm. Maybe someone could find them and re post them and ping me.

Their arms looked like my arm did after my first Pfizer shot. No real pain just a hellacious itch. My wife put steroid cream over the red areas for about 2.5 days, and the redness and itch went away.

If it was Shingles, the worst shot of my life, 2+ years ago, was my second Shingles shot.). It might have been activated as the stuff disappeared quickly from my arm/shoulder.
