Former Minneapolis Police Officer Derek Chauvin was convicted Tuesday of all counts against himin the killing of George Floyd, nearly one year after kneeling on Floyd’s neck in an incident that sparked global protests against police brutality.
After less than 24 hours of deliberations, the jury returned guilty verdicts against Chauvin, finding him guilty of second-degree murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter in the death of Floyd on May 25, 2020.

That isn't a possibility it is reality. In the areas where antifa/blm has taken over the cities that has already happened. They simply chased the police out of their ghettos.
Politicians at the highest level have thrown cops under the bus. Why would anyone take a life or death job where they have to make split second decisions then be second guessed and sacrificed months later?

No, they don’t. The British who were often wrong, were 100% correct in their assessment of the French revolution. I regard it really as the first communist revolution. And the only one really driven by mob rule for an extended length of time. Exactly where America is going I’m afraid to say. There is no way cops are going to be enthusiastic about getting a black assailant into their car.

PD recruiting all over the country just became MUCH harder. It is going to be very hard to retain good cops anywhere in the country now. We are rapidly descending into complete lawlessness and anarchy.

That’s our ‘conservative’ network we rely on to be fair and balanced. Lolz.
They get to keep their lives, their families survive, and their homes will not be burned down. They voted for self-preservation and not any justice.
Plenty of error for an appeal, as well as a new venue for another trial.
That's my feeling too. I think this is the wrong hill to make our stand on.

My white cop son just retired, with the minimum amount of years service to do it.
Keep in mind there are three or four other cops awaiting trial....at least two of which are people of color.
There were two black cops in ATL last summer who were arrested for attempted murder for having the audacity to taze a black girl who refused to exit her car. Apparently, following the direction of a law enforcement officer is now wholly discretionary irrespective of the color of the cop’s skin.
I’d find a new line of work.
Things haven’t changed very much since 33 A.D.
