Over a thousand people took to the streets of Chicago on Friday evening, marching for police reform. They were protesting the killing of Adam Toledo, 13, by a police officer in the early morning hours of March 29.

Individual seen at 2:30 AM firing weapon at passing car, running down dark alley with weapon, will not respond to officer's command to stop, officer does not see weapon disposed of by individual. Lots of circumstances adding up to stupid hurts.
The officer put down a little monster. “Lil Homicide” is worm food now.
ATT owned CNN Dem Commie site is Cop hate group ,
Raid the terrorist site
Yeah, how come pantyfa and $bm are no threat to cnn? They continue to foment the democommie idea that ‘them po’ black folk’ can’t make it on their own without help from the benevolent govt teet. Like pedo joe said, them can’t figer out how to make an aperntment to get a CV shot on the computer. Uh, maybe someone remembers the sterilization plans that they were subjected to without being told?
Gaslighters gonna gaslight.
It is a tragedy how he lived his life. He probably would have ended up killing or being killed. Boys and girls need loving parents and limits. The tragedy started a long time ago, before he ever encountered the police that night.
FUCNN
He was a dangerous criminal for some time, right up until 1 second before he died. Seems like playing the odds did not work out too well for him.
The death of any 13 year old is tragic. That said, he died because he didn’t have adults in his life who taught him and nurtured him and made sure he wasn’t in an alley at 2:30 am with a gun in his hand. That needs to be said over, and over, and over, and over. This has nothing to do with race. It has to do with being a responsible parent.
With a nickname like Lil Homicide he probably already had killed.
This is a COMPLETE LIE!
He had a gun in his hand 8 tenths of a second before the officer fired, and the darkness made it impossible to see the drop as he turned to face the cop.
The kid had GSR (gun shot residue) on his hand, so he had, in fact, fired the weapon. The casings found at the scene where shots were fired at a passing car were also a match to the gun tossed by the kid.
Not going to read that article, but...the headline says all that needs saying.
We were discussing these shootings and “critical events”, and this one had critical events such as the ones you mentioned.
Any one of them which had the dead criminal not engaged in might mean a criminal youth waiting for another sequence of events somewhere in his likely criminal future to make him a dead 16, 18, or 34 year old criminal instead of being a dead 13 year old criminal.
Sad but true.
What the hell is a 13 year old boy, doing roaming the streets in the middle of the night, being groomed by the Latin Kings, as a gang banger in training?
But we aren’t allowed to talk about that. We have to adhere to the media narrative that he’s an innocent 13 year old kid, and was shot for no reason.
CNN is flogging this story to build riot momentum and increase viewership but can’t seem to get there. I think they are learning that there is a big difference between a Black thug and a white hispanic thug dying at the hands of a cop. The name of the organzation is Black Lives Matter, not White Hispanic Lives Matter. Sorry, CNN your fake storyline is not going to work on this one. No big payday for this kid’s family. Shouldda been Black
Enough is enough.
I can’t help but wonder the types of decisions these “journalists” would make if it was their lives that were in danger.
Also....when is that last time a journalist was held accountable for anything?
It wasn’t only the darkness that made it impossible to see the boy dropping the gun, he flipped it behind the fence as he turned, the toss hidden by his body and the fence. He chose that fence line as his stopping point, too clever by half.
His arm and body moved in one continuous motion , the same motion he would have used to bring the gun to bear on the officer. I wouldn’t fault the officer in this case, and there are many cases where I do, Chauvin for instance.
When you send someone down a dark alley after a guy with a gun, things are probably going to get messy. The cop needs to know you’ll have his back and he’ll have the benefit of the doubt when things go sideways. Not a blank check, but benefit of the doubt.
"False narrative"
Where have we heard that before?
not supported by the video footage.
I've seen the video footage, and yes the deceased is revealed as a dangerous criminal.
White kids don’t get shot by cops as much as brown and black kids, because they are not out on a Sunday night at 2 am with handguns and gangmembers.
Tough shit, your culture sucks.
