How many lives could be saved if alcohol was removed from beer, whine and hard liquor.

Could that result in smokers smoking more to get the nicotine level they want?

They determined the culprit was Vitamin E acetate that some manufactures used as an emulsifier. The situation has been resolved.

They’re worse than cigarettes.

Aw, another victim of our government's brainwiping techniques.

.========================================================

Public Health England maintains vaping is 95% less harmful than smoking

"The government is launching a new campaign to try to convince the UK’s smokers that vaping is not as harmful as smoking and a good way to quit, in a bid to counter the scepticism generated by some scientific studies and media headlines."

I would hope so. I’m sure it’s tough once you get started.

Just the tactile part of having an object like than in your
hand/mouth has to get ingrained into you to the point you
want it there when you’re relaxing.

As someone else pointed out, this is a black market opportunity looking for a place to happen-apparently democrats have never heard about these things called “prohibition” and the resulting black market run by the “mafia”-they are clueless and greedy for power...

As someone who does like an occasional glass of wine or a beer-usually with dinner-and a cigarette or two after that dinner while watching TV, sitting on the deck enjoying the night, etc-I really don’t care what adults do as long as they are not stealing, murdering, raping, etc-and the f***ing governmnent has no business getting into their business-my body, my choice-isn’t that what liberals always say?

As a workers comp case manager, I also have had my share of clients who have been addicted to something either before or after injury-pain and/or psychotropic meds, illicit drugs-meth, heroin, coke, etc, fetish oriented and/or plain heterosexual sex, and most commonly-food-sugar and carbs-it is hell; to try to get a food addict to go to therapy to change their behavior-drug and sex addicts are easy in comparison-habits are not diseases that become addictions-individuals make a CHOICE to allow a habit to become an addiction/compulsion-no one forces you to eat the whole cake or pizza, drink the whole bottle of wine or Bourbon, take the Vicodan when you want to get high and are not in pain, tell the partner/spouse you’re at work late and go boff a stranger or two that you met on a trip or on the internet, etc. You don’t have to smoke the whole pack or carton of cigarettes, either-all things in moderation is the rule my parents taught us as kids-maybe simplistic, but it is a good rule to follow...

A neighbor quite smoking chewing on carrot sticks for that very reason. Unfortunately she substituted the fix for alcohol......another guy I knew quit by using instant coffee he carried around in a Altoid tin... whenever he got the urge he stuck some coffee flakes under his tongue. He still doesn't smoke to this day.

But it hooks people on cigarettes, which are linked to 480,000 deaths in the U.S. each year.”

Not according to a Harvard study lately. They endeavored to show HOW nicotine hooked peoplw but despite the fact that their double blind expiriment replicated the doses in smoking...they couldnt addict anyone to anything. When they stopped pumping nicotine into their subjects nothing happened. No withdrawal no discomfort nothing. Try that with heroine some time.

We have a right to enjoy things that may not be good for us and not have the government nanny stepping with endless parenting. What’s next? Eliminate alcohol from liquor?

These types are just tyrants....guess what, we all die!

yep, no doubt about it, reduced nicotine tobacco will result in MORE smoking, and therefore MORE disease and premature death because it’s all of the other thousands of chemicals in tobacco that kill you, NOT the nicotine itself ...

The nicotine levels aren’t really that high, in my perception.
I could be wrong there.

It’s all a crap shoot how much it effects a person anyway.

Coffee (caffeine) is supposed to keep you awake too. I can
drink 24 ounces, go lay down and be asleep in moments.

Makes it go out if just sitting and not being smoked.

“The nicotine levels aren’t really that high, in my perception.”

they’re plenty high enough to be extremely addictive ... I know that personally for a fact, and withdrawal is a VERY unpleasant two-week experience, and i know that for a fact too ... more than once ...

that’s why reducing nicotine in tobacco is complete insanity as all it will accomplish is causing people to smoke more, thus boosting Big Tobacco’s profits by billions, as well as exploding the public health bill by billions as well ...
