Oh so it’s the same as cigarette tobacco...Ok. But what in the heck is a fire retardant put in cigarettes for?
Makes it go out if just sitting and not being smoked.

Supposedly people were being burned alive because they would drift off to sleep while smoking. Lit cigarette would fall into the carpet or bed coverings and start a house fire. Supposedly thousands were killed each year.
The fire retardant was to fight this supposed scourge.
In my damned near 70 years on this earth I’ve never known one person to die in this way.
