Officials ID suspect in Somers House tavern shooting as 24-year-old man

KENOSHA, Wis. - The Kenosha County Sheriff's Department identified on Monday, April 19 the suspect from the Somers House tavern shooting that left three people dead and another three wounded on Sunday. He is identified as 24-year-old Rakayo Vinson. Vinson is currently in custody at the Kenosha County Jail.

This was a hate crime. I have friends in the area, having grown up in Racine. The shooter got kicked out because he was hitting on the white girls and telling them their men “ain’t s—t.” He made comments denigrating whites. So they threw him out and he came back with a gun.
