Mainstream media is utter garbage. That's it. That's the message.
The entire purpose of a free press is to allow the truth to come out. In modern day America, mainstream media works against this notion and proactively works to subvert the truth with their reporting. In the case of CBS News coverage of the police shooting of 13-year-old Adam Toledo, the dishonesty on their part is striking.
They intentionally edited out the part of the video that shows a gun in Toledo’s hand just prior to being shot. We know it was intentional because the rest of the video edit kept Toledo in best view, but the split second in which the gun can be seen, they conveniently pulled the edit to the left to keep him hidden before panning back to show him getting shot.
Based on the video, many on both sides of the political aisle were outraged at what appears to be a teen boy stopping and raising his hands as ordered before getting shot. But the gun in his hand a split second before adds brand new context that makes the split second decision more understandable, though clearly still wrong on the police officer’s part.
Social media was outraged by CBS News’ editing:
Ryan Saavedra said, “This video is deceptively edited and cuts out the portion of the police officer’s body camera footage that showed that the suspect was holding a gun.”
Brodie’sBurner said, “Regardless of how anyone feels about this shooting. Right or wrong. Justified or not. EVERYONE should be outraged that it was purposefully edited to elicit a desired response from us. If we don’t wake up to what they’re doing, we’re gonna tear ourselves apart. Smarten TF up.”

MSM is absolutely an enemy of the people and should be dealt with as such.
Are we allowed to ask, why a 13 year old boy is out roaming the streets in the middle of the night? What the heck is he doing out there anyway? Perhaps intemperate to ask since he’s dead, but, I can’t help but wonder if he was a gang member in training, or up to no good.
Those are two different frames. They show the action of him throwing the gun, in the second the gun is behind his body. There was no “splicing” involved.
So now Adam Toledo will be the next cause celebre in the area of alleged police brutality.
I guess Twitter, Facebook and YouTube have Permanently BANNED CBS for this False Information and Deceptive Editing right??

Yes, he was known to friends and neighbors as a bad-ass. In social media his friends eulogized him as Driveby Diablo and similar nicknames referring to his reputation for violence in general and “gun violence” in particular.

Post #9 gone! All I pointed out was that ABC, CBS and NBC, when they have no video to go with a story have been faking videos for years!
The local CBS affiliate in LA ended this story with a quote from some family member saying that this was so sad because the kid “wanted to be a cop when he grew up”...I laughed out loud. A thirteen year old out at 2:30 a.m. with a 21 year old gang member, playing with guns...not exactly a law enforcement career path...

Out in the middle of the night committing a felony (having an illegal gun) with a 21 year old. His Mom is upset, she should be upset with herself, what kind of culture do they live in when this is acceptable? Forget police reform, how about parenting reform. Where was his father?

CBS deliberately and intentionally perpetrated a fraud. They are in tune with the democrat party’s wishes: eliminate local police, replace it with a national police force. The next step is federal “oversight” (control) over local police.
