The U.S. has canceled plans to send two U.S. warships into the Black Sea amid a Russian troop buildup up on the Ukrainian border. Hours after the canceled U.S. deployment, Russia closed off access to the Kerch Strait, blocking access to two Ukrainian ports.
Within hours of the decision to cancel the Black Sea deployment, Russia moved to block access to the Kerch Strait, which serves as a key access point to the Ukrainian ports of Mariupol and Berdyansk.
Interfax reported the closure, and a Ukrainian Foreign Ministry issued a statement saying, “Such actions of the Russian Federation are yet another attempt, in violation of the norms and principles of international law, to usurp the sovereign rights of Ukraine as a coastal state, since it is Ukraine that has the right to regulate shipping in these waters of the Black Sea.

What greater sign of weakness could there be than Joe Biden as President of the USA?
What greater sign of weakness could there be than the replacement of the highly competent, brilliant, and clear thinking Donald Trump, with the incompetent buffoon and puppet Joe Biden?
What greater sign of weakness could there be than Democrats in control of the US Congress, Presidency, and Supreme Court?
The main reason for Russian--and Chinese--forbearance is the awareness that Biden, though a buffoon and a puppet, is in control of the US nuclear arsenal.
There is also the consideration that a highly competent, brilliant leader, like Donald Trump, will be in control of the USA before long.
And there is the consideration that half the US population consists of the same competent, clear thinking, patriotic Americans who carved the greatest, richest, and most powerful nation the world has ever known out of a wilderness, who placed a man on the moon, who conquered polio, who placed planes in the air, who twice rescued the world from the horrors of war, and who gave the world the priceless treasures of liberty, equality, and justice of all people, who gave the world the American Dream--and that such people have proven their invincibility many times.
Considering all this, forbearance is not only wise but to be expected.
