One of my biggest regrets is voting for George Bush.

I voted for Keyes every time I had the chance. Maybe he wouldn’t have been great in a general election, but I know that when Obama was about to steal the Illinois senate seat from lack of an opponent, Keyes stepped up and whupped Obama in the debate. I still think if Keyes had been the nominee in 2008 he could have repeated that performance.

“Great List”

Thank you. Not hard to compile after stewing over Bush’s screw ups for so many years.

That’s why I said it was a stretch...who know, Obama and Skunk Cabbage were able to overthrow a number of leaders, including Mubarak, without that kind of forward base.

Maybe he should spend more time on creepy-ass art.

I regret voting for Bush more than voting for Romney. Bush was at a pivot point in history and sadly he chose to deliver for the progressive agenda.

Because that is what his voters really wanted.

Ross Perot gave us Clinton

Exit polling at the time showed that the second choice of people who voted for Perot were evenly divided between Clinton and Bush. So no, that is a myth. And if Bush Sr. had been an effective leader like Reagan, Ross Perot wouldn't have bothered to run.

My biggest regret is not being knowledgeable enough in my early 20’s and actually supporting this nitwit.

...and thinking about it, I was happy to take out Saddam, as he needled us for a decade prior, by not complying with the agreement that he signed with Bush Sr. and forcing us to keep bombing him.

Needless to say, once he was ousted, the Neocons were PATHETIC in thinking that Iraq could be turned into some form of a Democratic state.

Unfortunately, it is a real picture. Do an internet search for “Bush kissing Saudi king”. There are dozens of different pictures of W smooching the king.

Warning: Be prepared to get sick to your stomach.

Any act by a conservative president that does not follow the profile of liberal theology is always in the crosshairs and will be erased by a sole act of any liberal president, and the news media, that is in power. So Monday morning quarterbacking by anyone, to include Bush, is a waste of time and probably displays additional things to erase the libs haven’t realized yet.

The current moron has already reopened such things DACA, the ACA as far as it can go, our borders to include bussing people, now called immigrants, into the northern tier, while ceasing the building of the border wall. He has cancelled the Keystone while stopping the drilling on federal lands,

He encouraged Democrats to jam through an absurd $1.9 trillion aid package with no GOP votes, destroying his campaign promise to work across the aisle and implementing it with over a trillion dollars still in the paddock unspent. (Future slush fund)

Biden has already jeopardized the Abraham Accords by temporarily freezing arms sales to the UAE which were included in that deal. He has yet to speak with Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu, pathetically returning to Obama’s failed policies in the region. Even Biden-sycophant CNN is questioning the delay.

Since January, The National Federation of Independent Businesses Small Business Optimism Index declined three points below the 47-year average. Small companies, which employ nearly half of America’s workers, are not optimistic about the future as they delay hiring and spending.

As for Joe Biden’s popularity, only 49% approve of the job Biden is doing in a recent poll discovered in a Quinnipiac poll. You might consider that a solid number but the poll only included 23% conservative voices. He’s only been in office for about three months.

And people are complaining about Bush, 12 years after he left office. This is 2021, and the above is what needs to be addressed. And Bush could not stop anything in the early 2000’s with what is happening now. You can’t change the past, only the future, unless you’re liberal.

I used to think that W would be a slightly better President than algore or that other guy. It’s now clear to me that I was wrong.

Bush hoped to erase the border with Mexico, and reached out to President Fox very personally. Repubs were so glad to be rid of Clinton that they weren’t in a good position to oppose him on that. What saved them, and thwarted his plan, was Fox’s response to 911.

Had Fox been more vocal in his support after the attack, rather than openly supporting our enemies, it would have gone forward. I often said, had Fox volunteered 200 troops as a symbolic show of support that border would have been erased. As it was, his insulting behavior gave Repubs the backbone to resist.

Still, though congress authorized a secure fence, and funded it, Bush steadily refused to build it. I remember his Homeland Security chief being questioned why it was not built. “There was no money” he said. But the money was included in the bill authorizing it... “Yes, but the bill did not require that the money be spent on the fence” he answered.

Bush very much hoped for union with Mexico.
