Former president Donald Trump intends to endorse a challenger to Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) in the very near future in order to prevent a split primary vote.
Trump believes that the only way this reviled lawmaker can win re-election is because of a crowded primary race. He will intervene to make sure this does not happen.
“And so many people are looking to run against Crazy Liz Cheney—but we only want one. She is so far down in Wyoming that the only way she can win is numerous candidates running against her and splitting the vote. Hopefully, that won’t happen. I’ll make an Endorsement soon,” he said in an email release to his supporters.
