The Brooklyn Center City Manager, Curt Boganey, has been fired after he publicly disagreed with Mayor Mike Elliott's assertion that the police officer who fatally shot a black man in the Minneapolis suburb should immediately be fired.
As City Manager, Boganey controlled the police department.
Speaking earlier to reporters, he said the officer who shot 20-year-old Daunte Wright would get 'due process' after the shooting.

Can’t have due process in a communist utopia, you know.
That’s wrong think these days.
It’s not going to stop until the nazicommies taste the wind from the helicopter rotors...
The Mayor of Minneapolis and the Gov. of Minnesota are going to make sure that no building is left standing in the city.
I think the cop should be fired and charged
I don’t think the city manager should have been though
Her actions....the lady cop....were egregious
She has no business being a cop.....as is the case with most women
Of course it’s fits freeper narrative versus lying eyes time...but I tried
But we don’t know everything that may have been said in a meeting between the manager and the mayor.
Never have seen this nations leadership as messed up and mixed up as since Biden/BO assumed office again. What insanity they’ve let loose on this country! I can hardly stand reading the headlines even!
Things appeared well in hand until she butted in. Seems like there’d be a signal that could be used, rather than blurting out “He’s got warrants!”
Idiocracy didn’t take 500 years after all.
She made a mistake
And it resulted in a death
She will pay a price as will the tax payers
Sadly the race baiters will exploit
Lady cops have a high incidence of this....of course woke culture will try to suppress that
Man she had to be rattled to think her taser was her glock or sig
Small time warrants ....tried to stupidly run
Took mortal hits
Stupid all around
Look how the other cops look at her after she shoots....like dayum
These DNC police departments are owned by the left. They hire, train and create policies. I have just become numb to it all.
And the idiot perp. Adding a possible two year felony to a simple outstanding warrant by attempting to escape. The way things are locally, the warrant would probably result in a book and release, due to covid. For all the blather about blacks being afraid of cops, they certainly don’t seem to fear pushing the envelope.
All I want to know is what rent-a-cop school she had to go thru to become a cop in Minn.
The requirements are thorough and lengthy enough for recruits.

Hormonal hysteria can be difficult to train out of a person, though.
I do wonder about her performance evals, and the professional opinion about her from her training officer.
She was hired at age 22 in 1995. Her qualifications were being young and female. And that pretty much is still the way it works.
Her actions were just mind-numbing. Un-frak-real mind-numbing.
“She has no business being a cop.....as is the case with most women”
This Part’s okay...
She has no business being a cop
This Part goes off the rails.
as is the case with most women
Not that anyone cares what I think. But each person needs to be evaluated as an individual. This is a training issue, they put this lady in the field unqualified and green. The Officer got all excited for the bust and an adrenalin fueled action pulled the wrong weapon. It could happen to anyone regardless the presence of a Y chromosome. And the city manager probably should be fired as he’s the one thats responsible ultimately for the training and qualification of these officers. Probably oversaw the defunding, woke, value signaling and general delusion of a perfectly good police force. When they do the Root Cause Analysis of this issue, I’d be looking at this officers training record and even deeper to see if the records were being ‘fixed’ in order to meet diversity quotas.
And that would lead back to the Mayor!
Yeah. She had a “bad day” for sure. I’m not a lawyer, but that “mistake” won’t be likely to get her acquitted (understatement). I’m guessing that her lawyer doesn’t see a better way of damage control than a lengthy case and a possible plea bargain. Most police have very difficult jobs fraught with pitfalls, and the paths are sometimes extremely narrow (legalistic).
“Hormonal hysteria can be difficult to train out of a person, though.”
Menopause and gunpowder...bad mix. With all due respect.
