Centers for Disease and Control Prevention (CDC) Director Rochelle Walensky on Monday suggested Michigan “close things down” as part of an effort to curb the state’s rising number of coronavirus cases.
“When you have an acute situation, an extraordinary number of cases like we have in Michigan, the answer is not necessarily to give vaccines — in fact, we know the vaccine will have a delayed response,” Walensky said in a briefing with reporters. “The answer to that is to really close things down, to go back to our basics, to go back to where we were last spring, last summer… to flatten the curve, decrease contact with one another, to test to the extent we have available, to contact trace.”

Lefties who got the Vaccine are more likely to say screw it going back to normal, that is my impression.
Flatten a curve? heck flatten the CDC instead. They seem to be all in with biden to send tens of thousands illegals all over the place to reignite surges and make hills out of once flattened curves.
As a Michigan FReeper I disagree.
“Close things down” means which “things?”
Last year it was churches and synagogues and almost everything-——but open were abortion centers (with Michigan State Police guarding access points), tattoo places, marijuana stores and liquor stores. Big box stores had yellow Do Not Cross tapes across any home improvement or carpentry and painting shelving.
Interviewer asked how liquor stores are “essential.” Reply: “When people used to heavy drinking get cut off suddenly they often turn to domestic or other violence.”
When GOP (politely) asked again and again for the mysterious “science” saying her lockdowns were working, Whitmer flatly refused. Since she looked at the “science” that was good enough.
TEAM BIDEN: We should close down Michigan but not the border.

The one “blessing” I expected from having ‘Falling Down’ Biden would be that Covid would have served its purpose for the elites and they would shortly declare victory over the disease. I was wrong. They will never give up control. Never.
