Well over half of the U.S. Marines at one particular base have declined to take the Covid vaccine.
This is a sharp difference from the 40% average we’re seeing among all Marines.
At Camp Lejeune in North Carolina, the rate of soldiers declining to take the Covid vaccine is striking. Out of 26,400 who have been offered the vaccine so far, 15,100 have opted out.
For the record, I will not be taking the vaccine. This is important to understand because I will be quoting an article from CNN which portrays the Marines declining the vaccine as somehow backwards. I do not feel they are backwards. They are doing the right thing and setting a proper example.
According to CNN:
The declination rate at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina, one of the prominent Marine Corps bases, was far higher, at 57%, according to another set of data provided to CNN. Of 26,400 Marines who have been offered vaccinations, 15,100 have chosen not to receive them, a number that includes both II Marine Expeditionary Force and Marine Corps Installation East — Camp Lejeune. Another 11,500 active-duty Marines are scheduled to be offered the vaccines.
“We fully understand that widespread acceptance of the Covid-19 vaccine provides us with the best means to defeat the pandemic. The key to addressing the pandemic is building vaccine confidence,” Marine Corps spokeswoman Col. Kelly Frushour told CNN in a statement.

... to be fair, the Marines have a long and glorious history of declining (and breaking) anything more advanced than a stone axe or wooden club. And eating crayons. :D :P
In other news, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin just announced that 57% of the Marines at Camp Lejeune have been found to be “extremists.”
Makes it easier to weed out the naitonalist white suprema-cyst extremists they’re looking for. Obviously folks with that mind set wouldn’t want to take some unapproved vaccination.
P.S. I seem to remember NOT getting to pick and choose what “I” wanted to do when I was in. JS
The militay knows the government are not their friends. They’ve been subjected to experimental shots before, like the Anthrax vaccine back in the 1990s. Throw in Agent Orange and Gulf War syndrome. Not a great track record. Sometimes the enemy is less lethal than the US government.
If they are combat ready Marines , healthy and are under age 60, why do they need the vaccination?
If they are that unhealthy, maybe they should not be active duty Marines.

It boils down to this indeed. The Marines accepting the vaccine could be certified white supremacists, it is not the priority for the media globalists. All this race baiting transgender stuff is hocus pocus
Love me a Marine.
I think that “ Gulf War Syndrome” affected the willingness of military to blindly accept whatever injections the govt offers ( at least so far it is an offer, not an order)
That plus concerns among a young healthy population of future effects on themselves and their families
And then there was the Marine Base that used contaminated water supply and is still treating brain cancer survivors ...more faith and trust
It beats the 43% who are fully retarded.
They were the ones paying attention in the NBC classes.
Good! Our soldiers are not guinea pigs. They are war fighters. GO USA!
This makes me feel good about our young, healthy, robust marines. I would not be surprised if many of them know that the COVID-19 virus is minimally dangerous to them and that there are millions of older, less healthy Americans struggling to get appointments.
Times have certainly changed. When I was in the Navy and they were giving out Swine Flu injections nobody was asked. They lined us all up and injected us.
If any of the troops see this post or others like it, they should not take any vaccine. My sister had it and she is on her last leg in a nursing home. She had no symptoms. My brother had it and he just died of liver failure...late last fall he had it.
I and my wife both had it and it was nothing in comparison to the Obastard flu.
Those that passed away were denied immediate treatment with any medication that could have saved them.
Read the open letter from Henry Ford hospital about how these scum in DC made it a political issue throughout the spread of the illness.
Henry Ford is one of the best medical centers in the USA IMO.
I’m surprised the shots aren’t mandatory. I certainly didn’t have the right to decline the vacs early into basic training. In fact, my DI kinda made that clear.....
When I was in the Army (80s, 90s) there was no option to not take a vaccine.
I’m on my 7th day of Covid (age 62). I’ll just say that except for the 5-star cough....it’s an average flu. Wife is saying the same thing. Her co-worker (mid-20s, smoker, some bad health habits) got dehydrated yesterday and taken off in an ambulance (her own fault for not staying hydrated).
Maybe for folks in their 70s/80s/90s, it’s probably a rough or challenging experience.
That was this very base. I know one dick that milked this for over 100k, not a damn thing wrong with him. I had to much honor for that. Now that I think of it, I should have took the money. My first misadventure with the VA medical system was signing up and the “rep” telling me I had to have orders proving I was there. All Marines that went to Parris Island went there during the Vietnam era. He also told me there were three pages to a dd214, which I knew was a lie. He straightened up pretty quick thinking I probably wasn’t a dumbass. I still should have got his f’n ass fired.
Their body, their choice!
