Lance Armstrong’s oldest son has been accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl in 2018, an allegation that Armstrong’s legal representation denies.
Luke Armstrong, now 21, is accused of driving the girl to his father’s home in 2018 and assaulting her there. Luke Armstrong was 18 at the time, according to the arrest affidavit.

So, a 16 year old girl, illegally gets drunk and then complains about sex.
I do not want to blame the victim but what is a 16 year-old doing drunk at a party?

I agree. Not that I condone kids having sex at that age but it’s pretty commonplace and high school seniors do date high school sophmores.
I’m sure that this has more to do with money than anything else.
Many 16 year olds are far far from innocent anymore.

18 & 16 was happening all the time in my high school in the 1980’s.
Assault is different, but that’s not age specific.

Would we have heard of it if it wasn’t Armstrong’s son? We certainly didn’t hear about it with Biden’s son until it was forced like the love child in 2019, or the laptop, his drug problems, and a number of other more than questionable things about him that are already off the front pager back to page 134 and are no where near CNN, MCNBC, ABC, NBC, or CBS. Does it make a difference who it is? Apparently.
And the bad part is Hunter did far worse, to include questions about the same thing, than Luke Armstrong did and no one cares. Including the GOP and the justice (?) department.

If not the Police, TELL someone. The shock of a rape must leave the victim paralyzed for a few days but the assault must be recorded and medical attention is important.
However, if the “rape,” was a consensual sex act, remorse is no reason to accuse the other person years later.
Mothers and Fathers should make that clear to their daughters before they leave the house.
I am amazed to hear about young girls taking “the pill,”
supposedly for help in controlling their menstruation.
Is that always the need? I am just an old guy who never asked that question or knew anything about his three daughters and their time of the month.
When I was 19 I asked a bodacious waitress for a date. A few days later we took in a movie. When I found out she was 16 I ran like the wind.
