Once again the defense weaponizes prosecution ‘expert’ witnesses against the prosecution case.
Today’s testimony began with the continuation of the direct questioning by Prosecutor Schleiter of Sergeant Jody Stiger, of the Los Angeles Police Department, who has been retained by the state prosecutors as an expert witness on use-of-force tactics and policy.
You’ll recall that the direct of Stiger began yesterday afternoon and ran for 30 minutes, until Judge Cahill decided to call it a day. That direct continued today for about another 45 minutes, before the witness was turned over to the defense.
Here’s a leading indicator that state-paid use-of-force expert witness Stiger was ultimately more favorable to the defense than he was to the prosecutors who’d paid him $13,000 to provide his expertise to help convict Chauvin: Whereas the State spent about 75 minutes questioning their own expert, Defense Counsel Nelson spent more than 90 minutes doing so.

Will that matter to this jury?
It certainl put reasonable doubt into play.
Who’s willing to take a bet that if there is “reasonable doubt” and he’s not guilty, cities will burn? Big liberal cities.
Just decriminalize counterfeit money so this can never happen again.
They will burn anyway.
I think 2nd and 3rd degree murder can be thrown out without much effort. The manslaughter charge (2nd degree) is the only potential charge. Even in that case...it’s a very weak case that has been constructed.
The testimony of Chuanin’s superiors is disgusting. What working cop in their right mind thinks that their commanders have their backs or will protect them? The Left does not have to defund the police, they are disintegrating the police. You can’t have an effective crime stopping, community policing organization if their is no respect bor trust in command and policies.
>>Will that matter to this jury?<<
What is the makeup of the jury? Just askin for a friend.
I occasionally watch the Tim Pool daily news show where he has guests and they sit around a table discussing the issues of the day...
He’s been all over this trail and repeatedly saying the State is making the case for the Defense instead of proving a crime was committed....
Yesterday they had Brandon Tatum on, a Black Former Cop and now staunch conservative Trump supporter who was saying there is a very good chance Chauvin walks out a free man...
“I Ate Too Many Drugs” ... wan’t this a Pink Floyd track from the late 60’s?
Liberal cities have brought it upon themselves.
God promises that, if we don’t repent and stick to his ways, we could lose the land.
I think liberal cities burning is an outworking of that promise.
The toxicology report should of done that.
Show trial that's all.
I don’t remember.
Will it matter to the mob?
“Among the 12 jurors and three alternates selected for the panel are three Black men, one Black woman and two jurors who identify as multiracial. If none of the three alternates — all of them white — is needed in the deliberation room, 50% of the panel that will vote on Chauvin’s fate will be Black or multiracial.”
NPR, but it is factual.
The Minneapolis Police Department, like many other police departments, is not going to recover from those testimonies. Since no officer in their right mind would risk ANYTHING for such backstabbers, these departments are going to be filled with officers who are not in their right minds.
Didn’t they mean “I ain’t ate no drugs.”? Of course folks have been warned that there is only one verdict acceptable. So, it will either be angry riots or celebratory riots. Either way somethings gonna burn.
Just letting the facts -- ALL the facts -- speak for themselves. And the defense picking up on forensic evidence not originally collected by the State makes for a problem for any honest juror to appease the rabid Left.
Not to mention the Perry Mason moment(s) of flogging the State with the State's own expert witness. (Witnesses?)
Cities will burn anyway. It’s what they do.
