Putting the warrior in social justice warrior, the rebooted version of the classic TV series Kung Fu debuts Wednesday on the teen-oriented CW network. In place of the late David Carradine, the woke series features a feminist heroine and an overarching emphasis on “social justice.”

The money dumped into this train wreck will be LOL-worthy.
Another beloved memory of childhood murdered in the name of woke
Everything on the CW is woke.
Best idea for a new show since Lesbian Batwoman.
Kung F-Up’d
What’s ironic is that the original Kung Fu was pretty woke as well. At the end of every show Caine would beat the snot out of the town bully, usually a white bigot.
Will her name be Grasshopper? Will 7UP make a commercial calling her Weedhopper?
Don’t think we can get it in Kanadahar. Based upon the description of the show, I’m sure that Prime Mistake Justin Cockwomble will insist that the CBC air it.
Of course, I cut the cable years ago. I don’t even watch the ‘over the air TV anymore because it is SO left wing and anti-Christian in this country. I will watch Rumble and things on Roku.
I have seen the trailers. It’s obviously truly pathetic garbage.
Wasn’t Caine a monk?
Does this mean the bad ol’ whiteys are going to get their butts kicked by nun?
Was there such a thing as Shaolin nun?
Starring Daisy Carradine?
When did they pass a law outlawing new tv shows and movies?
This reminds me of a forgettable TV series a few years ago featuring a female Zorro. There are truly no new ideas anymore, just the ruination of old ones. The people making this can’t not know this will flop. Their only reason for doing it is to show everyone how Woke they are.
That show was always about social justice.
Kung Flu fightin’?
As far as we know there were likely only males at the Shaolin monastery. (There is a dispute as to whether it actually existed though ambiguous ruins have been found.) However, there were other Buddhist religious orders of similar types and there were more than a few historical martial nuns. There are still martial nuns today - the Drupka nuns, for example.
That’s about the least questionable decision by the writers.
I liked Kung Fu The Legend Continues until it really super mystical.
The old guy was usually the best part of most episodes.
The Lone Ranger would do the same......Never saw him take on a black dude ever........
