Andrew Giuliani — a former Trump aide and the son of Rudy Giuliani — is considering a run for governor of New York next year, he told The Post on Wednesday.
Giuliani would go toe-to-toe with Gov. Andrew Cuomo, the three-term Democrat currently mired in a torrent of scandals involving sexual misconduct and his handling of nursing homes.
“Yes, I’m considering running for governor,” said the 35-year-old Republican. “There’s an opportunity for Republicans to take back New York. Absolutely.”

No. The NY GOP needs new blood, far more than any already Conservative southern “red” state.
First, I didn’t even knw Rudy had a son, maybe he should run for something else first. 2nd, Where is the NY GOP, do they train and recruit thru their county committee systems? No, it’s just BS like this.
NY needs a governor that is not beholden to NYC. One that is also firmly planted in the real world and not in a socialist Utopia dream world. Someone that actually understands business.
I might as well also ask that a herd of albino unicorns deliver a million tons of gold to my house. I will get the same result for both.
Cuomo probably only hates Bill Clinton more than De Blasio.
The state is pathetic. Everything is run through NYC which is the equivalent to a failed small country.

I thought this statement would have made it clear, “One that is also firmly planted in the real world and not in a socialist Utopia dream world.” That excludes every democrat and 75% of the republican candidates in NY.

No. This is why Hillary was a no go (obviously), and Jeb! It was unacceptable that two families would be in control of the country for half my life. We had a little disagreement about that 200 years or so ago.

I was hoping Andrew would choose to run. I believe he was working with/for Trump the last time I checked.

I don’t think that happened recently. LOL I’ve seen him as a commentator on NewsMax. He is very intelligent and conservative. He worked for President Trump as Special Assistant.
