CHICAGO (WLS) -- The airline industry expects to recover from the pandemic in a couple of years and when it does, United plans to diversify the cockpit.
It launched a flight school called United Aviate Academy with the goal of training 5,000 pilots by 2030. Half of which will be women and people of color.

I heard that for admission to the Air Force Academy staff used to give point preference to young persons with pilot training and aviation skills. That has been discontinued because the “woke” culture considers persons with those skills as being white privledged for the reason that their families obviously had the financial resources to support such training. I’m not sure affirmative action hires will have the “right stuff” to be able to capably pilot military planes and later commercial jets with hundreds of passengers.
Are they making zure men have 50% of the educational teaching and administration spots?
Are they making sure men have 50% of the college spots?
Are they making sure women have 50% of the hazardous, high risk death jobs?

And here all along I was concerned about affirmative action doctors....... I will not fly Delta nor American any more. Add United to the list. I will seriously have to look at train schedules.
I worked for an airline for a long time. I know how it works. Airlines LOVE to hire diverse people that are qualified. However, if they are now attempting to force a quota they WILL be hiring ones that are NOT qualified. Besides, it’s racist and bigoted towards other groups. There is no place for hiring decisions based on race and gender. It’s patently immoral.
It’s happening everywhere. If your parents gave a damn about you, you’re privileged and must be discriminated against. And even if they didn’t and you’re the offspring of white meth addicts, you still have the wrong skin, so you’re privileged.
It’s going to be fun when all the doctors, pilots, etc. are AA hires who have gone through anti-white schooling and training.
