TAIPEI, Taiwan—The Chinese communist regime is accelerating its plans to invade Taiwan, an expert warns, as Beijing ratchets up military maneuvers against the island.
Twenty Chinese military aircraft—including four nuclear-capable H-6K bombers, 10 J-16 fighter jets, two Y-8 anti-submarine warfare aircraft, and a KJ-500 airborne early warning and control aircraft—entered Taiwan’s air defense identification zone (ADIZ) on March 26, according to Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense. It was the largest incursion ever reported by the ministry.
Taiwan’s ADIZ, located adjacent to the island’s territorial airspace, is an area where incoming planes must identify themselves to the island’s air traffic controller.

In Washington DC, the Chicoms are not viewed as America’s natural enemies. They are The Party’s business partners.
Chicoms own the Pretender. Obiden will abandon America’s honor when The Party greenlights the Chicom invasion of Taiwan and other territorial conquests.
Knowing that the US cannot be counted upon, the rest of the western Pacific countries will necessarily ally w/Chicoms in a new Co-Prosperity Sphere.
Of course, all of this will be blamed on Donald Trump.

In geopolitical terms it strikes me as very similar- and we never, really, invaded.

My guess is that china and russia both act at the same time sacking Taiwan and Ukraine respectively.
Yes, the Chicoms have enough surface to surface missiles opposite Taiwan to inflict serious damage. Not sure they want to. China wants the manufacturing infrastructure.
Secondly, you can bet your sweet patookas that Taiwan is heavily infiltrated by communist. Sabotage at the onset of conflict is a certainty. Take out transportation, electric, communications.
Furthermore, China sports a huge militia army that has trained to commodore every surface vessel needed to transport bodies. Check out what they've done in the waters around the Philippines. Perhaps a training exercise of sorts.
China sports the largest navy now. Their air force would dominate the skies along the Taiwanese coast line opposite the mainland. They also have advanced anti-ship hypersonic missiles capable of taking out surface vessels...and they'd love to make an example out of the U.S..
China has been working on anti-satellite technology for years. Not sure how far along they are, but one things for sure, they'd love to blind our military in the event of conflict.
I believe folks are shorting the capabilities of a determined commie regime hell bent on taking the island.
