Senate parliamentarian to let Democrats bypass GOP filibuster on two more bills
The Hill ^ | April 5, 2021 | ALEXANDER BOLTON

Posted on 04/05/2021 7:12:49 PM PDT by lowbridge

The Senate parliamentarian ruled Monday that Democrats can use special budgetary rules to avoid a GOP filibuster on two more pieces of legislation, setting the stage for President Biden's infrastructure agenda to pass in two packages with simple-majority votes.

It's a win for Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) that allows him to pass Biden's $2.25 trillion package by revising the fiscal 2021 Budget Resolution.

Schumer could pass a budget resolution for fiscal 2022 to do a third reconciliation package for the second half of the Biden infrastructure agenda. Or the fiscal 2021 budget could be revised a third time to set up a third reconciliation package.

Top Schumer aides had argued to parliamentarian Elizabeth MacDonough last month that Section 304 of the Congressional Budget Act of 1974 allows them to revise the budget resolution for fiscal 2021 to create additional reconciliation instructions, setting up pathways to pass two more bills this year with only a simple majority in the 50-50 Senate.

"The Parliamentarian has advised that a revised budget resolution may contain budget reconciliation instructions. This confirms the Leader's interpretation of the Budget Act and allows Democrats additional tools to improve the lives of Americans if Republican obstruction continues," a spokesperson for Schumer said in a statement Monday. "While no decisions have been made on a legislative path forward using Section 304 and some parameters still need to be worked out, the Parliamentarian's opinion is an important step forward that this key pathway is available to Democrats if needed."

Democrats used the budget reconciliation process earlier this year to pass Biden's $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief bill without any GOP votes, instead of the 60 votes needed to advance legislation in the upper chamber.

Communists (giddily) on the march...

The masks & gloves are off... Unstoppable...

This is merely the beginning of the tyrannical horrors that await the country over the next few months and years...

On the bright/optimistic side, there are now only 11,997 months to go before this communist tyranny is over...

Everyone just needs to hang in there...

It is because the GOP is spending all their time counting their grifter loot to do anything for their base voters. From the social strata they come from most National Republican politicians are culturally leftists and they really do want to belong in DC and enjoy all the perks and privileges of their social class and they hate the fact that they have to pay lip service to the people that voted them in the office because they think it's their due to rule us.

Vote out every RINO traitor who is facing a primary in 2022, especially at the state level. We have RINO-controlled state legislatures to thank for our present situation because they would not enforce election ID law. If we can replace enough RINOs in 2022 with true conservatives in the legislatures of GA, PA, AZ, MI, and WI, then we have a chance to take back the WH in 2024.

Yep, the GOP is definitely part of the problem, and most definitely not the answer. I know a new party isn't the easy solution, but it might be the only one at this point. The GOP is useless, and they know they are useless and don't care.

If this had happened that would not ;
What the Republicans should be doing is using the Georgia reform and doing is this *REVIEW THOSE GEORGIA SENATE ELECTION RESULTS

There were a series of fraudulent voting charges here. Were they enforced and corrected before this election took place ? If they weren’t is not a review called for ?

They were created with the introduction of Covid 19 which the Biden campaign thanks the CCP for doing; http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3940857/posts

If the Georgia Secretary of State is in charge of voting he has the responsibility of enforcing the state’s regulations as to who votes. And eliminate those from voter lists who don’t qualify.

Assign prosecutors to personally canvass and investigate. Check if military actually voted by asking them. Identify all voters by checking on legal age their residency and citizenship. If found they do not qualify charge Illegals including state visitors known as snowbirds also include any technical computer fraudulent Italian programming testimony when presenting to the court and get these election results tossed.

LINKED HERE ARE REASONS WHY THIS IS WHAT WE SHOULD BE DOING 90% of the military votes went for Biden ?

That’s because they didn’t have 52 Senators in reality, only in number count.

More importantly, GOP lost the house. You have to have the House to ram stuff through the reconciliation.

The lede was buried, was the parliamentarian has said is that there can be an infinite number of reconciliation bills. Any reconciliation bill can contain instructions to authorize more reconciliation bills.

25th Amendment, get Joe out as quickly as possible. Let Heels up be pretend Prez, and force them to choose a neutral VP. Throw anything into the works to destroy the momentum on every move.
