Banks Memo: GOP Must Embrace Being ‘Party of the Working Class’ to Take Back House in Midterms

"A memo from Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN) to House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) urges that House Republicans must embrace policies supported by working-class voters if they intend to succeed in flipping the House in the 2022 midterm elections.

Banks, who chairs the Republican Study Committee (RSC), details in the memo, dated March 30, key issues affecting the working class, including immigration, trade, “anti-wokeness,” “Main Street vs Wall Street,” and big tech, and provides a set of action items for his Republican colleagues as they set their sights on next year’s races.

“President Trump gave the Republican Party a political gift: we are now the party supported by most working-class voters,” Banks begins. “The question is whether Republicans reject that gift or unwrap it and permanently become the Party of the Working Class.”

Banks provided a copy of the memo to Breitbart News...

Opposition to illegal immigration and increased legal immigration remains popular among both working-class Americans and the electorate at large,” Banks states, adding that Trump administration pursuits such as building a border wall, enforcing the Remain in Mexico policy, and standing against amnesty were “successful” in controlling immigration...

Please read Jim Banks' memo in full. It is FANTASTIC, and follows Trump-ism to the T.

It's also the memo that Liz Cheney (spit) just went bonkers over. She hates it, which is one heck of an endorsement.

“Opposition to illegal immigration and increased legal immigration remains popular among both working-class Americans and the electorate at large,” Banks states, adding that Trump administration pursuits such as building a border wall, enforcing the Remain in Mexico policy, and standing against amnesty were “successful” in controlling immigration.

On the issue of trade, Banks correlates tough-on-China policies to American industry and job creation. “Republicans should state clearly: Our opposition to China is a corollary of our support for working Americans,” Banks writes. “The reverse is also true: Democrats’ coziness with China results from their coziness with Wall Street.”

Banks’s memo also ties “wokeness” directly to the Democrat Party and states that “wokeness and identity politics aren’t pro-Hispanic, pro-African American or pro-LQBTQ; they’re anti-American, anti-women, and most of all, anti-working class.” Evidence, Banks says, can be found in Hispanic voter turnout for former President Donald Trump in the 2020 election and in Hispanic and black voters’ overwhelming opposition to the Equality Act....”

Dems have always been the party of the Non-working Class, either the welfare cheats or trust fund millionaire champagne socialists

Good luck with that. Republican Party is the party of the Crony Capitalist Chamber of Commerce and Indian outsourcing companies.

Rich people and corporations have sold their souls to get woke. I won't stand in the way of Democrats trying to raise their taxes. It's not my hill to die on.

Economic warfare is safer and has a far greater success rate than the other kind.

Reagan used it to break the Iron Curtain and Trump had both the Chinese and Iranians on the ropes.

I’ll take your word for it, that it’s Trump-ism to the T.

Here’s my first question to Banks......if you’re hellbent on appealing to the working class to si back the house, who were you hellbent on appealing to before?

Let’s see. I think we all know the answer. Chamber of Commerce. Donors. Big business. Developers. National association of “????”, every and any other special interest group that would fill your campaign coffers

Actually, to take back the house at midterms. They need to give us a clear reason why this time will be different than from when they had it during Bush and Trump.

If we are just going to get another Hastert, Boehner or Ryan, there really isn’t much point. If McCarthy and Liz are still the leaders, there isn’t much reason to vote at midterms.

What the Republicans should be doing is using the Georgia reform and doing is this *REVIEW THOSE GEORGIA SENATE ELECTION RESULTS

There were a series of fraudulent voting charges here. Were they enforced and corrected before this election took place ? If they weren’t is not a review called for ?

They were created with the introduction of Covid 19 which the Biden campaign thanks the CCP for doing; http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3940857/posts

If the Georgia Secretary of State is in charge of voting he has the responsibility of enforcing the state’s regulations as to who votes. And eliminate those from voter lists who don’t qualify.

Assign prosecutors to personally canvass and investigate. Check if military actually voted by asking them. Identify all voters by checking on legal age their residency and citizenship. If found they do not qualify charge Illegals including state visitors known as snowbirds also include any technical computer fraudulent Italian programming testimony when presenting to the court and get these election results tossed.

LINKED HERE ARE REASONS WHY THIS IS WHAT WE SHOULD BE DOING 90% of the military votes went for Biden ?

CHINESE COMMIES DON’T WANT THIS TO HAPPEN * THAT’S WHY THOSE BUSINESSES AND SPORT INDUSTRIES WITH CHINA CONNECTIONS ARE AFRAID THIS COULD HAPPEN WITH THE GEORGIA ELECTION REFORM
