After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.
There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it.
His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow.
The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.
The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.
He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.
Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”
Blessings to all.
As a Christian, we celebrate Resurrection day everyday of the year.

Thank you and blessings to you also! Look up!
My favorite Holiday. Hope, not like we know it. We only get a tiny taste a few times in our lives. The first cry of the newborn, the first warm sunny day after a few months of 60 below zero, that new car we always dreamed about, a wedding.
No, this is hope eternal, to know heaven is real, to stand before Jesus who suffered beyond our imagination as He welcomes us home, wipes away our tears, sorrows and restores us to perfection through His mercy. When hope is changed from an ideal to reality.
He is risen indeed!
Amen!
Actually...we wouldn’t be celebrating Christmas if it wasnt for the resurrection of the Christ.
He is risen indeed
Jesus Christ is Risen Today!!
The Association of Lutheran Church Musicians (ALCM) has provided virtual choir opportunities for its membership during the pandemic. This year for Easter, 1,784 participants from Lutheran churches across the nation helped sing and play Kevin Hildebrand’s setting of “Jesus Christ is Risen Today.”
Great way to start an Easter Sunday. It’s amazing how they do these videos.
Yes, indeed. Maranatha!
When Jesus told Mary not to touch him after he had risen was evidence of the Glory of God within him. To me it was the most convincing evidence of his supernaturalism. Among others of course.
Hi is Risen.
Yes we do!
He is Risen indeed!
Happy Easter
Exactly. Today’s just the day we commemorate it.

I’m an old fogey, but try to listen to new Christian artists, I especially like the lyrics of this Resurrection Album by Andrew Peterson. I was listening to it earlier this morning.
