Maricopa County Board of Supervisors to Arizona Senate – You Cannot Do Your Audit Here at the Tabulation Center – Where Do You Want the Ballots Delivered?

At yesterday’s meeting, the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors continued to do all it could to not make it easy for the Senate to perform its audit. The Supervisors have been doing this for months. They even sued the Senate once in an attempt to not allow the Senate to perform an audit which is the Senate’s right. At that time the Board of Supervisors argued that since the ballots were all sealed, they could not unseal the ballots for the audit because during the audit the ballots would have to be unsealed and the law says they have to keep them sealed? The Senate updated state laws so this silly argument became mute and a judge also stepped in a sided with the Senate.

More obstruction and delay from the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors. The AZ Senate should have just sent the Sergeant-At-Arms to seize the ballots and machines months ago. When they finally get the ballots, things will be missing or changed from the delay.

Charge Maricopa County Board of Supervisors with Obstruction of Justice.

They may have the legal right to deny the Senate the use of county facilities. I don't know what the law is in AZ. My point is that the Senate should have just seized the materials subpoenaed. Instead they let the county jerk them around. As I remember it was the Senator from Maricopa County who voted against seizing things.

I am surprised that things have remained peaceful. I am not advocating anyone doing anything violent. If I were on a jury, would I convict someone for doing that? No comment. I wouldn't want to write something that could get me kicked off the jury.

Worst video ever. It shows some documents and very readable text on screen, while a woman reads them word for word, taking over 3mins to do what anyone can already do in 1 minute or less.

And the documents do not support the title. They are simply asking, and have been for over 30 days, “where do you want us to deliver them?,” which is what the subpoena demands.

This is complete sensationalism, and not true to the headline at all. GP does that sometimes, when they don’t need to. There is plenty of bad faith in most of this, but not in this case. What a waste.
