There are a lot of ironies when it comes to increased Democrat calls for more gun control — which always happens when they are in power — and corresponding record increases in gun sales, but this one might just be the granddaddy of them all.
As reported by “Washington Secrets” columnist Paul Bedard, gun sales hit another record in February as Joe Biden and congressional Democrats once again ramped up calls for new gun control measures, politically exploiting, as they always do, .... For the second time in three months, the FBI broke its record for gun sales, concealed carry, and other firearms background checks in March.
The National Instant Criminal Background Check System conducted 4,691,738 checks, an all-time high. It broke the record set in January of 4,317,804..

I live in NY state and I absolutely used my stimulus check (that I did not need at all and my kids will be paying triple for after I am gone) to buy an AR-15. My brother, whom I love dearly but is an East Coast elitist, told me when I bought my AK and couldn’t get a 30 round mag in NY that, “No one needs a 30 round magazine”. I said, “I have 3 ten round mags, I fail to see the difference”, he said, “Oh, good point”.
Fantastic news. Every gun and every cartridge to arm America against the illegals and frauds claiming to run it.
how many have been used to commit a crime?
how do you spell nonsense?
An evolutionist would tell you that if you had an AR-15 laying on a table for an infinite length of time, eventually it is inevitable that it will jump up all by itself and not only shoot someone, but reenact every violent crime ever committed.
Liberals believe the same thing, minus the “science.”
Wiener dog... artificial selection.
Giraffe... natural selection.
Wiener dog is to a wolf as a giraffe is to a zebra or horse.
Wiener dogs were bred because who doesnt want a yappy tiny version of a wolf that is about as dangerous as a mouse. Giraffes self bred because the tops of trees are tasty.
Why did giraffes happen? OK, so over millions of years there are droughts. During those droughts the longer necked pre-giraffes survived at a slightly higher rate than the shorter necked ones because they could reach food. As a result periodically longer necks were bred for. Rinse, repeat. Do that over millions of years of periodic droughts. You end up with a ridiculous wiener dog equivalent naturally selected for. At least that portion of evolutionary theory is rock solid and you have to be as dense as a brick not to get it.
May the traitors who stole the election reap karmatic ROI.
Only seven? I'm working on my 12th. After all, my safe is designed to hold 16, so I've still got a little way to go.
For years I told myself “I don’t really need an AR-15”.
For years the democrats kept saying “Nobody needs an AR-15”.
Then they sent me money I didn’t really need.
I love my new Ruger MSR.
An excellent way to invest your $1,400 Covid check. If you already are sufficiently armed, buy reloading equipment and supplies. No legitimate sporting purposes? Do you know how many fish you can take out with one of those babies? They don’t sell any assault rod and reels.
I’ll spend most of mine buying 30-06 Garand ammo. Sheesh, it’s costly!
Also, I’ll save some to retake the NRA Rifle Safety courses (1&2).
Garand is apart at the moment. I need to refinish the furniture and replace the hardware. If the weather ever warms up, I can start stripping the old varnish and crap, sand, and put on multiple coats of boiled linseed oil. It won’t be perfect, but it’ll retain the character of the rifle. Then, I’ll give the mechanicals a good cleaning and lube wear areas.
“Owning and being willing to use them are two very different things.”
True, but few are buying them as investments and even less buying them to use to decorate the house.
“Lots of my customers over the past 9 months have been first time buyers.
The number of gun owners has grown considerably.”
Good to know.
And the riots - the real ones - probably helped many new gun owners make that decision.
I disagree with the premise of this article. Who needs an AR-15 when there are AR-10s available? Step up your game folks.
We’re getting NVGs because well........😏
Hey jerk, I’m not complaining but asking a question. What a dummy you are. Check my posts before you assume.
Good
Better to have them and not need them than to need them and not have them.
Don’t forget the body armor.

I have, the guy is a German engineering genius........
What about the slight chance that many of these new gun buyers are democrat party members. After all, it was free money to them too.
Yeh we went with NVGs this time because we have somebody sneaking around our house lately about 4:00 AM. We are going to be out there waiting one morning and scare the bejesus out of them. We have a problem child in the neighborhood.
Our neighbor has already threatened him with a gun for trespassing and hanging around acting weird. Whoever it is shined a red dot laser at the bedroom window the other night as Mr.GG2 was looking out. We are sick of it.
Here’s a thought. Grab a couple of wireless game cameras at Cabelas and place them around the property. Grab some pics for law enforcement.
Then sit back and enjoy the show.
