Donald Trump’s Nationalism is Not Going Away
Liberty Conservative News ^ | 03/31/21 | Jose Nino

Even people at establishment conservative rags such as the National Review recognize what Trumpism actually is. Michael Brendan Dougherty was correct in observing that Trumpisim “is a populist-nationalist politics.” He added some salients points about Trumpism:

“[Trumpism] It is populist because it preaches political doctrines largely rejected by the incumbent political class: an America-first foreign policy, revision of the aims of our trade policy, and a halt to mass migration. It is a nationalist project whose ultimate aim is to restore the democratic link between the citizenry and government — a link that has been threatened by a class of “experts” who govern a subordinate native class on behalf of oligarchic interests.”

“Trumpism” isn’t going away because it was here long before President Trump. It just didn’t have a voice at the national level before President Trump. His simple message of improving America and putting America first so everyday people can have better lives has been exactly what people have been wanting for over a generation. In other words, he just said what we’ve all been thinking.

It’s all rooted in the deep desire to see this country excel and the people in it to have better lives. No, that isn’t going away.

We are older, and not indoctrinated. The left is patiently waiting for us to die off... but their patience is growing thin as the assume more power.

That’s because it is not Donald Trump’s. He is one of the 74 million+. He happens to be the one who knows what to do with it but it is ours. We are done with watching the country fall to the hellbound.

It is not over.

We have reason to believe him when he says we are just getting started and the best is yet to come

I have zero doubt in him.

Zero. Doubt.

These people act like Trump started the movement. He didn’t start it —we were here before he came on the scene, we’ll be here after he’s gone.

It's OK to have a leader who is looking out for his own country and citizens and not sell out to everybody else.
A strong America can do much more good in the world than a weak America.
That's what good nationalism is, not the leftist viewpoint where nationalism is seen as selfish or nazi-like.

Thank god we have a viable alternative to Trumps racist America First policies - CHICOM lead globalism.

“It’s called the Republican Party before Neocons took over”

Other than Reagan, and only to some extent, I don’t think the Republicans have ever been much to brag about (until Trump).

At long last we finally have what we have needed for over a century - a LEADER.

Who the F needs a worthless president?

Let the democrats fool around with that useless obsolete benefice, an office that is only of value to the necrotic political parties.

People with a Leader will always outlast any political machine or junta.

WE DEFEAT THE LEFTWING USURPER GOVERNMENT BY IGNORING IT.

"Trumpism" - It's usually a habit of the Left to add "ism" to something they don't understand but I see it isn't exclusive to them. What shocks me is the rarity of the initial requirement of "Trumpism", that is, a politician who loves his country. That didn't used to be unusual, and a politician who didn't actually have it had to damn well learn to fake it. Now the vision of an America immured in racism, sexism, homopohobia, White Privilege, bigotry, "inequity", et cetera ad nauseum, is so common it isn't even a Democrat party plank, it's their entire foundation.

There's actually quite a bit more to nationalism than simple love of country, and the earnest assertion that anyone who does love a country whose population is majority white is a White Supremacist is one of the filthiest rhetorical mendacities ever peddled in history. That it is now dogma on campuses and in the media is simply a reflection of the latter's corruption.

But sincere love of country and a willingness to act on it is what made Trump stand out from the crowd and continues to do so. Precious few politicians appear to have realized that, and expressing it aloud is an instant ticket off the Elite Team. That's really all there is to this "ism" and it's a wonder that it's enough.

Its funny that nationalism is a bad word. It means that our politicians should work for Americans. Wow, what a horrible thing. CNN and the rest of media are anti-american. So is our federal government. They have taken sides against us. And that includes the generals and courts.

I had forgot about George H Bush’s Chicken Kiev speech where he personally added the phrase “suicidal nationalism” until I read something recently about Ukraine. That speech summarized the establishment’s dismissal of ordinary people. I am surprised we have not heard more about this speech the last four years.

True, we were here before Trump, but there wasn’t anyone pushing like Trump, except Reagan, but other than that it was we had to settle for the lesser of two evils, not with Trump! He is the Man, period, case closed
