NBC News anchor Lester Holt received praise from liberal media figures after saying reporters don’t need to hear both sides of a story before determining the "truth." "I think it’s become clear that fairness is overrated ... the idea that we should always give two sides equal weight and merit does not reflect the world we find ourselves in," Holt said on Tuesday night while accepting an award at the 45th Murrow Symposium. Lester Dolt lives up to his name.
Lester Holt revealing his inner Stalin dying to come out.
Well, in a sense he’s right. One side’s opinion is not equal to the other side’s facts.

His first mistake is believing there are only 2 sides.
His second mistake is this.
The behavior of the media has proven their disregard for truth and fairness long who. This is no surprise.
He’s got a point. fair and balanced was a mix of lies and half truths. Could do without the lies. But, the way I see it, the media is the stress for our truth detectors. Better to think for yourself than allow the press to do ANY thinking for you.
Yes, Lester. So is truth.
