New York State legalized marijuana for recreational use on Wednesday, making it the 15th state in the country to do so.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) signed the legislation on Wednesday, which creates “automatic expungement of previous marijuana convictions that would now be legal.” The Democrat governor described it as a “historic day.”

It’s not being a weasel when you are going after alcohol and making a personal attack on me about it.

If you ever develop into a mature adult and want to apologize for making a personal attack on me for posting two words then you need to do that by email because I can’t be endlessly babysitting you online.

What’s the difference between the two?

There is conflicting research regarding legalization of marijuana and car accidents in Colorado:

From your link:

“Conversely, Washington state, which lifted prohibitions on marijuana the same year, has seen traffic-related deaths remain relatively stable”

It’s not just MVAs.

I know employers who are having kittens about this.

Employers for whom having someone stoned on the job is a safety issue.

This is going to make maintaining a safer workplace a lot more problematic and expensive.

True - so with science offering no definitive answer, I go with the common sense I posted: “People who before legalization were responsible enough to not use marijuana because it was illegal, will after legalization be responsible enough to not drive stoned because that remains illegal.”

“This is going to make maintaining a safer workplace a lot more problematic and expensive.”

Only if marijuana use accelerates after legalization - for which there is no evidence.

More fundamentally, a person’s fitness for any particular job belongs to that person, not employers and not society; it would be textbook socialism to say they must remain sober to make employers’ hiring and worker monitoring easier.

Oh, WOW! This is great! Cuomo just solved Pennsylvania’s deficit issue. Sharing our northern border with New Yorkers who will be driving around without a clue that it is illegal here will be paying fines like never before.
It will be a Dope Tax.

An increase is an increase.
2+2 still equals 4.
But hey, who cares.
You can now legally smoke your weed, right?

With that chip on your shoulder, you’ll be behind the wheel.

An increase is an increase.

There was no increase in Washington state, which lifted prohibitions on marijuana the same year as Colorado.

I said Colorado.
Colorado saw an increase.
You’re talking about washington which is stonerville max saturation.
Colorado saw an increase.
You claimed that was false, it is not.
An honorable person would say sorry.

it will be state regulated and I would bet if you buy it or get a license to grow it, it'll be an excuse to take your guns away....

why do people feel they need to live in a fog is beyond me....

we are playing right into the hands of the globalist....a meek, wimpy, drugged up society does not resist.

Don’t know that answer myself.
I grew up dealing with druggies of all flavors.
I hate the apologists who claim it doesn’t hurt anyone.
My childhood sucked everytime those people were in my life.
I resent the lie that it isn’t harming anyone.

Same lie Jack Dorsey uses about child porn on twitter by the way.

washington which is stonerville max saturation.

Evidence?

Colorado saw an increase.
You claimed that was false, it is not.

I posted evidence against it. Turns out there's evidence both ways - so either both of us need to apologize or neither of us do.

Were we playing right into the hands of the globalists when we ended the Prohibition of the drug alcohol?

Actually, yes.
JustSayNotoNannies, zotted doper troll who wanted everything legalized.
Sounded an awful lot like you, actually.

VEvidence?”
They legalized and the stoners who were driving before continued to drive.

An increase is an increase.
