New York State legalized marijuana for recreational use on Wednesday, making it the 15th state in the country to do so.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) signed the legislation on Wednesday, which creates “automatic expungement of previous marijuana convictions that would now be legal.” The Democrat governor described it as a “historic day.”

Btw you attacked another on alcohol: - Ditto for alcohol - but I support that drug being legal, don’t you? Like I said this is a typical response.

Honest.
I hate NY so much.

“Looking at the number of obviously stoned drivers that already existed, this can only end in good things”

People who before legalization were responsible enough to not use marijuana because it was illegal, will after legalization be responsible enough to not drive stoned because that remains illegal. Ergo, no rise in stoned driving.

Doesn’t he have bigger problems to worry about? Like all those women accusing him of sexual harassment and the LSM confirming what we knew all along about the nursing homes?

“The politicians keepin’ ‘em RETARDED.”

No, they do that to themselves - and did even before legalization. The only difference is who gets the profits: violent cartels, or licensed businessmen.

Colorado saw an increase in vehicle accidents after legalization.

Like I said, if THAT is what you want to believe...
Go ahead.

”Colorado saw an increase in vehicle accidents after legalization.”

False.

“we also found no association between recreational marijuana legalization and total crash rates when analyzing available state reported nonfatal crash statistics” - https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5508149/

Funny how the pot heads have more sway than the millions of people who are in COVID lockdown. It is so depressing that there is almost no resistance to being forced to destroy our mental and physical, not to mention financial health, but if anyone messes with pot the politicians run in terror of a bunch of burnouts.

I am really starting to think we have crossed the line into hell.

“the pot heads have more sway than”

Marijuana legalization is not primarily due to pot users, but to the increasing number of non-users who see that pot is no worse than alcohol and that the main effect of criminalization is to profit violent criminals.
