The New York Times reported on March 27 that Syrian-born Colorado mass shooter Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa had been on the FBI’s radar before he murdered 10 people in a grocery store.
“The suspect’s identity was previously known to the F.B.I. because he was linked to another individual under investigation by the bureau, according to law enforcement officials,” the Times says.
According to a police affidavit, six days before Alissa shot 10 people to death, he purchased a pistol. That would have required him to pass a federal background check also run by the FBI. It seems the FBI is not very good at this “stopping mass shooters” thing.
This is not an anomaly in the FBI’s history. It in fact appears to be a pattern of negligence. During the Barack Obama presidency, Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., grilled FBI Director James Comey about the “known wolf” problem — of 14 Islamist attacks in the U.S. during Obama’s tenure, the FBI had been aware of at least 12 before the violence erupted, and did nothing.

Murderer’s father whom he lives with, Moustafa Alissa on April 5, 2016: “Christians and Jews” ...”just stray animals”.
Unless the person of interest has actually committed a crime (conspiracy to commit murder is a crime if you can prove it) there is not (and SHOULD NOT BE) a whole heck of lot the Feebs can do.
Or anyone else.
So what if I happened to meet someone who is a loon? We might share common interests outside of his lunacy.
Or do folks really want Red Flag laws, guilt by association, people being banned from buying firearms ‘cuz someone put him on some list, etc.?
Not the first time at all. Wasn’t the parkland shooter on the FBI radar. Cops had been to his house many times for issues. Then I believe there was another they caught trying to flee with the rest of the students. I know they have thousands of things come into the office every day.
They only act when it's kids at Waco.
The Parkland kid was a result of formal Leftist policy put in place by the sheriff’s department and school system that resulted in minorities being ignored for egregious behavior, because of racism. So the policy was spread nationally by the Obama Administration. Of course. And is still in place in many locales.
Go read the book Why Meadow Died for details. Heavily footnoted, co-written by Meadow’s father.
The FBI needs to go... go where? Like the DOJ and the CIA they are totally compromised.
The last election was an eye opener of how corrupt things are. How do you get rid of it? Trump has to figure that out or history will repeat itself.
The GOP is useless. There will be no Durham report, no Kavanaugh prosecutions, no Hunter Biden investigation, no FBI prosecutions of Hillary, Comey, Peter Strozk and Lisa Page, no inquiry into judges who closed their eyes to FISA regulations, no accounting from the SCOTUS, etc... a FAT NOTHING! The GOP doesn’t care. They don’t want to disturb the Democrats.
Do we really want to support guilt by association?

But Yet the left are pushing “Red Flag” laws to violate the rights of people who get turned in by folks who simply have grudges against them-
re: “ During the Barack Obama presidency, Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., grilled FBI Director James Comey about the “known wolf” problem — of 14 Islamist attacks in the U.S. during Obama’s tenure, the FBI had been aware of at least 12 before the violence erupted, and did nothing.”
EASIER to sip coffee at the office THAN it is to pay visits to subjects in the field JUST to jot down some notes and let the subjects thereby know I’VE GOT EYES ON YOU BUSTER ...
After the FIB involvement in the Draw Mohammed terrorist attack they should no longer exist
re: “The FBI was supposed to stop him because he knew a suspicious person?
Do we really want to support guilt by association? “
No “brain”, eh?
as of aug of 2019 (the first info i found on it), States that have already implemented red flag laws (there may be more now)
California. Colorado. Connecticut. Delaware. District of Columbia. Florida. Illinois. Indiana. Maryland. Massachusetts. New Jersey. New York. Oregon. Rhode Island. Vermont. Washington.
It’s already here- since red flag laws are here already, it’s hypocritical of the FBI to not do anything about terrorists on their watch list-
Truth is, I wouldn’t generslize all FBI as corrupt. I’m sure most, eslecially rank and file are excellent. But there are gross failures.
They screwed up the Vegas so bad so nothing is out of the realm.
Is that you Hannity? The FBI is corrupt from top to bottom. You have to be corrupt if you still work for that criminal organization.
It was corrupted by Obama/Biden. It won’t be fixed until the GOP takes control.
They could have stepped up their watch on the guy instead of watching all the fake insurrectionists.
So will this unknown individual also known to the FBI be the next to slaughter innocent unarmed people?
That is one of the reasons I would really be worried if they DID pick up people like Al-Issa before he committed a crimve!
