Sports car maker Porsche has said the e-fuel it is currently developing in South America should open the legislative door for combustion engine vehicles to remain on sale beyond 2030.
The UK, along with a number of other nations including Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and Sweden, intends to ban the sale of new petrol and diesel models from 2030, as part of growing efforts to reduce air pollution and make transport greener.
However, Porsche bosses said banning the engines is the wrong decision and law makers should prohibit the burning of fossil fuels but allow for synthetic fuels to maintain the availability of combustion-engined cars beyond the end of this decade.

This is so insane.
If the case of E-cigarettes is any guide, governments will still try to ban the ICE even if it can be made 100% pollution free.
So far none of the EV manufacturers is making a profit on sales. People are simply not buying these vehicles.
Looks like transportation will force folks to buy them if there is no alternative. How long before the use of IC engines is made illegal? You KNOW someone is working that already.

The transition into alternate fuels and power sources will not be without pain. I am no climate change alarmist, but there is an insatiable drive in mankind to innovate and improve. That is why buggy whip manufacturers are few these days, and gas station will be few down the road.
For every Tesla sale or vehicle on the road, there are thousands of sales and vehicles with internal combustion engines. Tesla EVs are a novelty amusement for the virtue signaling rich. The cars cannot go far without a long recharge. Who in their right mind would depend on such vehicles if their safety or livlihood were at stake?
EVs like almost all the Left’s agenda depends on coercion and infringements on liberty. Most Americans simply don’t understand why or what is happening to them.

E-fuel? Is that like hopium? The “electric” car is fueled by coal, natural gas, uranium and plutonium. It also has batteries contain metals that have significant environmental damage while mining them.
