The police are merely paid mercenaries to the highest bidder. They have no moral incentives. They are not and were never a friend to the right. I do not understand why that was never obvious to most people until the last year or so.

Most of us carry for years without ever encountering a high threat. Driving thru a political rally is now high threat. Going into cities at night is high threat. But many of us don’t need to be prepared to IMMEDIATELY shoot while visiting the tack & feed store. So carrying a gun without one in the chamber isn’t a big deal.
Too easy to spot and too slow. The idea is that a normal looking SUV or crossover could pop smoke/OC and surround itself with a protective shield much like a modern tank can pop multispectral smoke to disappear from optical, IR and laser designation.

This is actually a very good question. The devices they use are class IV lasers capable of starting a fire. In many states you are supposed to have a license. I got one of these things last summer. $100 shipped from china, including batteries, a charger, and a nice aluminum carrying case. It is very impressive.
While I carry and recommend carrying chambered, I dont criticize someone for carrying the way he did. At least he was carrying.
As to brandishing, he seemed to react to either being maced or being struck with something thrown, so his reaction to address a threat is also appropriate.
Sometimes people are too critical of others when they havent been confronted with the situation faced by those being criticized.
On the other hand, the best way to win a gun fight is to avoid it. There will be no ‘winners’ in an armed confrontation.

Yep....You would think a major well-established quality gun manufacturer like Sig would never let something like that out of their plant......

If I buy it used, first I carefully read the legitimate reviews especially the torture tests...Then I contact the manufacturer regarding any recalls or updates......

Doees anyone know which color/wavelength of laser do those eye maiming punks typically use? It’s to the point where you need anti-laser goggles, but you have to match the goggles to the laser’s color.

Um, those are prolonged shootings by nuts. You would have plenty of time to rack the slide and defend yourself. I carry because of random shooters who go around stores or churches shooting people, not because I’m worried about being pulled out of my truck and shot in the Walmart parking lot at 10 AM.
May suck to be the first target, but I’m likely to carry for the rest of my life without ever even pulling my gun. I already did so, 40 years ago - a 22 revolver and got out without firing. Not likely to happen again.
