“I knew my life would never, ever, ever be the same,” said Eric Coomer, 50, in an interview with Yahoo Finance earlier this week.
The director of product strategy and security for Dominion Voting Systems—now on paid leave—Coomer was recalling a nationally televised press conference in mid-November when Trump Campaign lawyers Rudolph Giuliani and Sidney Powell denounced him individually, by name, as having helped rig the 2020 presidential election.
In the most in-depth print interview he has given since going into hiding that month, Coomer describes below what it’s like to be public enemy No. 1 to the conspiracy theorists who falsely blame Trump’s election loss on voting-machine fraud.
Coomer’s ordeal began Nov. 9, when an obscure podcaster from Castle Pines, Colo., aired an account of an alleged “Antifa conference call” that the podcaster claimed to have “infiltrated” the previous September. The podcaster, Joe Oltmann, alleged that a man on the call, who was referred to as “Eric … the Dominion guy,” boasted of having rigged the election for Joe Biden. Oltmann accused Coomer of being that “Eric” and displayed Coomer’s photo during the video podcast. Oltmann has been raging against Coomer ever since.
“Eric Coomer, you are a traitor,” he wrote on Parler in mid-December. “We are coming for you and your s*** bag company.”
Oltmann’s sketchy, implausible, incendiary accusation was swiftly picked up by the right-wing blogosphere and then retweeted by President Trump on Nov. 18. The next day, Trump Campaign’s then-lawyers, Giuliani and Powell, propagated the accusation against Coomer to the whole nation.

No government officials should allow a company to run their election with priority software. If the software cannot be examined before, during, and after an election the firm should be denied a contract.

Every voting machine should be open source
As soon as these opinion writers use terms such as “falsely” they can no longer be protected by the penumbra of “news.”
In fact, they should be sued as individuals as they are now libeling.
It is extremely easy to go back and hand count the paper ballots and catch an error in the scanned totals. There have been many hand recounts, and the totals were not significantly different from the machine counts to indicate any programmed fraud in the machines.
However, the fact that poll watchers were prevented from challenging any signatures prior to the ballot forever being separated from the signed envelope, indicated where the fraud occurred.
NO PROPRIETARY SOFTWARE. Officials must be able to independently examine the software before, during, and after an election. Anyone who claims proprietary software should be denied a contract.
Voting must be shown to record one man one vote. No proportional or fractional counting.
The voting machine must print a receipt which corresponds to the recorded log. Every receipt timestamped with time, location, corresponding bar code.
Ballot paper must be unique. The size of the paper should be unique so it can't be purchased off the shelf from a office supply store.It can be produced with a watermark, ultraviolet dye, or a thread (as in our paper money) making it nearly impossible to forge. Ballots couldn't be produced on home or office copiers.
Ballots are numbered sequentially and with a bar code. The bar code ensures the ballot can only be scanned once.
Logs of voting should be visible via computers in real time and recorded in paper hard copies.
Transparent bipartisan oversight every step of the process without the need for a court to intervene.
These are just a few I came up with.
Question: What are Republicans doing RIGHT NOW to secure the next election in every state?
Are they going to wait until the next election is stolen before their eyes before they question the integrity of the process?

Wrong. So very, very wrong. The only way that will happen is if they destroy all of the evidence, meaning that it's not provable.
Statistically & pragmatically, it's patently obvious the election was targeted by multiple players asymmetrically and that it was a conspiracy of the 1st order domestically. That includes software manipulation of vote totals. Whether or not it was prompted by Dominion is irrelevant: Dominion facilitated the crime directly or negligently and continues to obstruct justice.
Unfortunately there's no one left to investigate, let alone rule on the matter.
And if more people believe as you believe, then we are truly screwed, as evidence destruction has been ongoing since the election and continues to this day, the vehicles of this fraud soon to be codified with pending legislation.
When does it end for the MILLIONS of Americans who had their rights stolen from them with a fraudulent election in 2020?
If Software was manipulating the totals, then why haven't hand recounts of the ballots come up with dramatically different totals?

Coomer: So let's start with the real obvious. I made several postings on Facebook over the years expressing a personal socio-political viewpoint ....
Regarding what some people call “the Antifa manifesto”: I think we can all agree that there is no such organization as Antifa
That tends to happen when you overthrow a 240+ year old Republic. People get annoyed.
