Congressman Don Bacon (R.-Neb.), a former brigadier general in the Air Force, brought some much needed common sense to CNN Newsroom on Wednesday when he educated host Poppy Harlow on what exactly an AR-15 is and why law-abiding citizens do not need to justify to Harlow why they need one.
Don't miss the CNN chyron during the segment suggesting banning weapons was "Gun Reform."
Harlow began by playing a clip from Tuesday's show of former Aurora, Colorado Police Chief Daniel Oates declaring the AR-15, "a weapon of war. I think most police chiefs in this country would agree it doesn’t belong on the streets of America.” Harlow then asked Bacon "What do you think? Do we need another assault weapons ban?"

By her definition ANY gun is a weapon of war! If a gun can kill people it is a weapon of war. She didn’t want to hear anything else. A loaded gun CAN kill someone if it is pointed at someone and the trigger is pulled! The liberal talking point is that the AR-15 is a weapon of war. You only have an AR to KILL people. REPEAT, repeat and repeat the lies! That is their job. Propagandists. They are not journalists. They have an active agenda to disarm every law abiding citizen in the country and world. The only people they want armed are the despots and thugs.
Is Poopy aware that her building is protected by armed security?
If I ever am approached by a liberal “reporter” discussing “weapons of war”, I would hold an AR-15 in one hand and a Remington 7400 in the other and ask the “reporter” which was a “weapon of war”???

CNN needs to have their license pulled. Their attempts to violate citizens’ Second Amendment Rights should cost them their First Amendment Rights.
I’ve used pictures of a run of the mill M&P AR - and a Ruger Mini Ranch next to one another.
