How many tens of thousands of assaults, robberies and murders against Asians in New York were not counted as hate crimes? Since there is no real objective standard for a "hate crime", just about every time it is applied is a political decision and thus any counting of it is a reflection of the politics rather than real crime statistics. And even with all of that, the crime count is way one sided. Mayor de Commie-o has a solution to that - more hate crimes arrests of whites.
Just proves that math is racist.
White hispanic includes also a fake reference to those called “brown” by BLM rioters...
Official Census tallies counts race and Hispanicness as separate questions. Thus you can be white, black, Asian, native American, Australian Aboriginal, etc, etc. Then if you or your family lived in Spain or its old colonies you are Hispanic. Peru's ex-president Fujimori would be counted as Japanese Hispanic.
Finally, an attempt at real journalism on this topic. As an Asian-born American myself, the most vehement attacks, both verbally and physically, against me were not by white people. It was predominantly blacks with a smattering of Hispanics.
IMO, there is genuine enmity against Asians by blacks and Hispanics, but especially among blacks. I didn’t quite understand the genesis of this until I read Thomas Sowell’s book “Black Rednecks and White Liberals” where he describes hatred against people in the “middleman economies” by the existing populations. This has happened and continues to happen everywhere in the world, so America is no exception. Blacks have displayed this type of envious hatred against other blacks, most notably against West Indies blacks who thrived after moving to Harlem in the early 20th century. It was this Caribbean population who was largely responsible for the “Harlem Renaissance” and not the blacks who had been in New York all along.
Anti asian hate is almost exclusively black. And what we are seeing today is a political moral panic. You could pick left handed people and then provide a drumbeat for three days about the left handed murder victims. You could easily make it look like there was a terror campaign against lefties.
BTW. Alex Saab, Maduro's hezbollah money guy is Arab-Latino... So are Hezbollah funders Labanese traders in Macau near the Venezuelan border...

Here’s the unasked question — Could these spate of so called HATE CRIMES not be related to the following:
1) De-funding of the Police
2) Doing away with bail for criminals.
3) Releasing hardened criminals from prison because of Covid?
I live in New York City and all of the above have been implemented and crime has risen over 150% since.
Is there NOT a correlation between this and the attacks on Asians?
BTW, what about attacks on Jews, Whites, Hispanics and other blacks?
Has anyone noticed a similar INCREASE in these crimes?
Before we look at the motives, let’s look first to see if there are similar INCREASES in attacks against other ethnic groups.
They’re backpedaling hard, since they realized trying to force meme this exposed their failed inner city crime policies instead.
They are white-blacks so all white.
